While we live here in this physical world, we must remember that we are spiritual. All that is physical will fall away. It will die, rot, and return to the dirt. Everything from our home, our favorite deer stand, our best duck blind, and even our bodies. None of it will last forever, but our soul is eternal. So we must always keep focused on improving and maturing. We need to strive to be better and continue to pursue the will of GOD. Do what GOD needs us to do. Be who GOD needs us to be. GOD has a plan and purpose for each of us. Trust in HIS plan. Find HIS purpose. Walking into a clean barn is an odd feeling. Shiny and smelling fresh as a daisy. No hay, no dirt, no manure. It just doesn’t feel right. While a barn so clean and pristine that you could eat off the floor might look good from the outside, it is not serving its purpose. A barn is built to give shelter to animals, to store hay and a place to keep the tractor out of the weather. Growing up I enjoyed helping my grandfather milk his cows. The barn was smelly, The barn was dirty. It was perfect! The barn was being used for its purpose. It is where we milked cows. It was how my grandfather made a living and a life. And so we are. Sometimes we will get dirty. Sometimes we may not look so shiny and clean, but if we are doing the work that GOD has set before us, we are perfect. We are doing exactly what GOD needs us to do. It is the times that we struggle, our time in the muck and mire that make us so valuable to GOD. Don't be afraid to get dirty. Don't fear the struggles and strife. How powerful is GOD that by His words He created the world? He spoke and it was so. Throughout Genesis 1 it is written "And God said" and everytime that "God said" it was so. GOD not only created the world and everything in it just by speaking, but HE has breathed life into each one of us. He formed us and created each one of us.
