While complaining about the world at work one day, I decided that I needed more positivity in my life. Who wants to be with someone who is negative all the time? I don't! So I decided to create a blog for all the things that I am thankful for in life, and all the things that make me smile. Eventually, I believe this will make me a better person!

High School Lefou:

Definitely is the Group Mom and has a whole bunch of random shit in his locker and backpack that saved some lives

Probably was a marching band captain 

Was absolutely done with his section’s shit the entire time 

Took the “easy” math and science classes but took AP music theory and AP French

Was definitely the class clown who somehow got the teacher off course for five minutes

Was always cast in the spring musical

Showed up to school either looking really nice 

Went to prom with a group of friends instead of a date. 

Was kind of out? People knew he was gay but he didn’t talk about it a lot

College Lefou:

“MOVE I’M GAY”

Theatre Major who probably lived full time in the theatre building

Hung out mostly at the on-campus cafe 

Survived mostly on coffee 

Shows up to your 8am in sweats but then you see him that night and he looks fly as fuck

Still was Group Mom

Waited for unusual times to shower so he could sing show tunes and not be judged

The problem with having clinical depression and anxiety (other than having clinical depression and anxiety), is that you have a million ideas of stories and plots you want to write about, but no motivation to write it. Then you feel pressured to write it because your anxiety is yelling at you that you need to write it to feel validated, but your depression is yelling at you to go back to bed because nothing matters. And then your anxiety is yelling at you for that. It’s an ongoing struggle between not being able to do anything, and feeling absolutely horrible for it. *sighs* I’m trying... I swear I am...
