I see vast error all the time on my tl but im iffy about reading it bc ive heard of some controversial shit that happened regarding it :/

i see it on my twitter and honestly it doesn’t bother me as much as it used to

either way im not super interested in the controversy i just think it’s difficult to like for someone like me with some of the contributors’ attitudes towards it being the “greatest thing ever” which is fine. be proud of ur work. do whatever just be tactful. but it’s really grating for me because i got accused of being “way too into my own thing” for idfk wanting my fv partner to write pesterlogs with me (terrifying) and then have to see VE be praised for all the work they’ve put in and praised for all the “things theyve sacrificed” when the same attitude cant be extended to me.

ugh god i feel so weird interacting on twitter

i don’t get twitter etiquette yet like do i comment? retweet? cant add comments in a rt... i like using tags on tumblr bc it feels less intrusive but like i can still say my opinion??? man twitter is confusing and i dont get it

anyway if anyone is interested my twitter is here. it’s just fantrolls right now (sorry :’p) but ive applied to a few homestuck zines and im hoping to get a little more involved in general, twitter seems to be the better platform for artists anyway and it’ll be good to get away from tumblr nonsense. so i’ll be uploading more art there in the coming weeks hopefully?

i honestly think the healthiest way to have fun on social media is to find a group of friends and value them as people just as you’d do offline because in my experience fixating entirely on being an ‘internet presence’ with a huge follower base does really weird things to people
