❛ What’s a pegasi..? ❜ Before now, Reina wasn’t completely sure if this was truly a new world, or just another place within her own. But upon looking at the girl beside her, she noticed something particularly odd, which wasn’t her clothing. Reina’s eyes travelled to the others ears, and how exceptionally pointy they were. ❛ Are you a Phantom? Or.. ❜
Her mind went to fantasy she had seen within books and on the television, beings that do not exist within her own world, but perhaps they do here. ❛ Are you an elf? ❜ Though elves within said mediums were exceptionally taller, and were all blonde and elegant. The one she stood beside was roughly her own height, definitely not tall.
She shook her head hard before quickly turning to the other and bowing her head. ❛ T-Thank you! I am happy to be here! ❜
“Wh-What!? Do I look like a ghost?” Nah wondered what in the world would ever give anybody the impression she was a phantom, or a specter, or--and this girl didn’t even know what a pegasus was!
What sort of sad place did she come from?
The girl hazarded another guess--an “elf” this time, and Nah sighed--and though she was a bit indignant, she supposed she couldn’t really hold it against her. This slightly-odd-smelling-human was polite enough, and it wasn’t fair to expect her to know what she was from just a glance without context.
Nah sighed, climbing up to sit on the gate, right beside the idly watching horses.
“I’m a manakete,” she explained, emphasizing the word. “You know...a dragon? You at least know what a dragon is, don’t you? My name’s Nah. What about you?”
