My first 360 Olympics and I'm looking forward to the next! It was in many ways awesome at the same time humbling. Seeing everybody sleep deprived but still scrambling about and going non stop, showing off what they had prepared, a lot of clumsy happenings and still cheering on for each other, and everybody just being friends with everybody, I can't help but smile and thank God he allowed me to be where I was that day ☝ Sa buong araw isa lang ang nakuha kong picture at ikaw ang kasama ko @rhyantaw bago mangyare ang pinaka-memorable part ng Oly para sakin 😂 Salamat ulit sa tiwala mo sakin kahit bago lang ako dito. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." -Colossians 3:23 There is a deeper issue here than working with the right attitude. Whom do you beling to? Who is sovereign over your circumstance? God didn't put us where we are simply because of the output we can produce. We're where we are because God wants to be seen there as well. Our work is about Him even though it is entirely secular. The point is for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you there, wherever you happen to be. Whatever you do, have this in mind: You are doing it not just because God want you to be there, but because He wants to be there too. Thank You, Lord for giving me another year to live! Another year but still the same reason to Live! "Shall we accept good from God, and not the trouble?" -Job 2:10 The casual relationship with God takes Him to be a good luck charm. People pray to Him, speak of His plans and praise His goodness. But when trouble comes, they complain that He isn't treating them well. God isn't a good luck charm. He isn't the great coach who is on your side when you win but is not when you lose. Our prayers aren't mantras we chant so that we won't have trouble this day. And His word isn't our horoscope, telling us all the tricks we must do to be successfull in our ventures. God is the Governor of our lives, the Sovereign who directs us in every way we must go, the Blesser who measures His blessings by the depths of His grace, the Sheperd who will lead us through both comfortable plains and difficult valleys. Real life has troubles. God will protect us from many of them, but He will also walk us through many of them. New bumps to trip on and new hands to help me get up and keep moving. My constant in life, no matter how far I drift off, God is always near and ready to show me the way providing me with new clothes to wear to represent Him and His Love better and helping me take off my old self. "What is our reluctance? Why are we hesitant to put on our new clothes? Because we know we experience rejection. But rejection will come to everyone, either from the world or from the Kingdom of Heaven. The question isn't whether we can avoid it, but whose we most want to avoid. Wisdom calls for a choice. Psalm 57:7 "My heart is steadfast,O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music." One thing God looks for when we are in the crucible, at another crossroad in life, another point of making a difficult decision, is a steadfast heart--a heart that will not, under any circumstance, fall away. God will wait to answer until it is clear to Him, to us, to others that watch us, that our heart is resolutely fixed on Him. Not only steadfast in hope but also steadfast in worship. God does not remain silent in His love when we aren't silent in our worship. Starting the year waking up early and talking to God. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." -Proverbs 9:10 Where Wisdom Begins -Why does a God of love tell us that wisdom begins when we fear Him? Because when we approach the Holy One with a casual familiarity, we're not taking Him as seriously as we thought, and we don't take our sins as seriously as we ought. -Fear, not of punishment but of the greatness of God. It is vital that we know God's love and rest comfortably in it. But a true understanding of God's love begins with an overwhelming awareness of His greatness, holiness, and power as they contrast with our sinful nature. Thank You Lord for another beginning, another year to look forward to, another year to witness and spread Your Love working in our lives 🙏🙌 #AudienceOfOne #Wisdom #GodIsGreat

"Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding." -Proverbs 23:23 IN PURSUIT OF TRUTH -We want to base our decisions on what is likely to happen next. The problem with our plans is that they rarely take us far. Our reasoning will not always put us on the right path. Why? Because we don't really know what happens in the future. We don't hold the future in our hands. We don't hold the will of God in our hearts. And we don't hold His wisdom in our minds. At least not at first. This is why we must live our lives feeding on God's daily bread. His word must come to us frequently, regularly, and repeatedly. It must be driven into our minds and embraced by our hearts. At all costs, at any sacrifice, we must "buy the truth"! And do not sell it. What peace it brings when our decisions are based on the knowledge of the Omniscient! Praise to You oh God for an awesome 2016! Starting the last day of the year with a quiet time sets me back into perspective. You humble me and give me courage to face a new year full of open doors and hurdles to jump. Help me get off the throne of my heart and rule over me!
