Hi, I’m dulcenottee ♡ This is my space for Sims storytelling, character building, and figuring things out as I go. My stories tend to lean more character-driven, a little messy, and inspired by things I’m currently enjoying. WCIF friendly!

Cute couples I've made over the last couple of months. Honestly, I haven't been posting much lately. Between game issues, waiting to update, and just a lack of inspiration, I've mostly been taking a break and trying to figure out what I actually want from my game.

One thing I do know is that I want a save file that lasts for generations. I want sims whose lives connect, whose kids grow up together, become friends, enemies, fall in love, and continue the story. That's part of why I've made so many pregnant sims lately 😭

I've also been playing around with an idea loosely inspired by my own life. I became a mother as a teenager, and while her story wouldn't be mine, I know some of the realities that come with it. I think it would be fun to let gameplay decide more of the story instead of planning every little detail.

Lately I've realized I don't really want picture-perfect anymore. Burnout eats ass, honestly. I've been playing almost every day for three years and somehow have only really explored San Myshuno, Willow Creek, and Brindleton Bay. I own almost everything and barely touch most of the worlds, which feels like such a waste. So I'm trying something different and focusing on having fun again.

functional :

• highchair : just so you are aware the feet of toddlers do clip a little with the foot rest but animations are perfect, otherwise I would've had to remove it.

• book storage : some both old and new 90s book covers, you are also able to place items in the front!

• play-mat : Its more of a quilt but functions as a play-mat for your infants! its super cute and has that heirloom, pass down look to it. ( requires storybook nursery )

• infant crib : a super cute crib with bumpers and even some fun patterns :)

• infant bassinet : this bassinet is functional for infants! something fun to have in you're living room for your sleepy baby's or even in the nursery, you can also place items underneath it too.

• changing table : matches the crib and also other objects and has lots of storage underneath! ( requires growing together )

• vintage Lamp : fully functional and comes in some super sweet swatches all with 2 different skin tones!

• rocking chair : fully functional and has matching ottoman to rest your feet! ( requires Nifty Knitting )

• ottoman : functional and you can sit on it!

• fun time blocks : complete retexture of EA's nesting blocks with some great colours and designs on them.

Erica doesn't like taking breaks from her busy life, so that very evening, she finds herself surrounded by skin care, pizza, and her three closest friends, telling them all about her day. She leaves nothing out - especially not Elliot's behavior, which prompts Gisele to bring up the topic of boys.

The four girls settle in more comfortably on the bed, as if wrapped in a cocoon ready to keep all their secrets between themselves. Although they’re all in relationships, each has had very different experiences with the subject, and they confide in one another about their concerns.

Gisele is feeling particularly anxious about her relationship. Aside from their usual problems, the lack of intimacy between them worries her. Could she have done something wrong? Nicole brushes off her worries with a wave of her hand; not everyone is necessarily into the “woohoo” thing, after all.

Erica ends up cutting the conversation short, not because she isn't interested in her friends' concerns, but because she's still upset with Elliot and wants to enjoy her evening with her friends rather than dwelling on things.

Indy - 16 weeks with her babies

Indy update I was supposed to post yesterday before a migraine ruined my plans 😭 ♡

So in my head, she’s currently around 16 weeks pregnant with twin boys 🫠 I’ve mostly been spending my time lately working on my forever save instead of actively storytelling right now. Indy & Ezra are definitely staying and will be part of the Oasis Springs side of the save along with the Desert Saints crew you I haven't introduced yet but will soon :).

Right now I’m mainly focused on rebuilding Willow Creek, finding builds that fit the vibe I want, and creating interconnected households instead of everyone feeling random and separate. I’m also reworking a lot of EA lore and relationships while still keeping some of the original charm. In my save the Pancakes survived marriage counseling and now have two kids, and I’m aging up Cassandra and Alexander Goth for a more refreshed feel & in the bff household choices were made that forever changed their friendship!

I also completely changed my gameplay settings because I realized the way I was playing was honestly burning me out. I used to have 28 day seasons and pregnancies set to 84 days because I was trying to line everything up realistically with actual months and seasons 😭 now my seasons are 14 days and pregnancies are 42, which honestly feels so much better for storytelling and gameplay.

I think trying to perfectly match everything to real life timing started making the game feel more like work than fun for me, and taking a break helped me realize that. Now I’m honestly just having fun slowly building this world up again ♡
