Members of the York shire police force in the 70′s who made up the idea of The Yorkshire Ripper killed only prostitutes'. Excluded a number of ripper attack survivors because they didn’t fit the “profile”. Made up that the first victim was a prostitute based on assumptions, which made it practically impossible to track it back to the killer. All due to the misogyny placed in the people working the case.

So I’m honestly confused by the amount of times I’ve read fanfiction and there’s a part where someone sucks on a tongue. Is that normal???? Are we just running around the world sucking on tongues? Is it supposed to be hot? Do people look at their s/o and think “I want to suck their tongue right now”
I have been unfortunately informed that this is IN FACT a thing that people do and I am now even more grossed out by tongue kissing than I was before

... Did you know these were all sorted and made available within a month of abled people needing them after the onset of the pandemic? Did you know now that states are opening back up, these accessibility accommodations are being revoked for many? 🙂

i didn't wanna get involved but i feel like i need to speak. anyone who has ever tried making gifs knows that even a single gif can take up to hours to make look right (especially in the spn fandom!! the original show has 0 color and it's so dark) and to speak for myself, i spend weeks planning out gifsets and getting the scenes in my head right. on top of that, we spend days downloading the whole 15 seasons of this show and make these gifsets bc we love them! you absolutely do NOT have to reblog every gif you see, but saying that somehow they are less than any other fan creation is discouraging and hurtful. also shaming people for getting sad about notes on their gifsets is really not cool. you can't tell someone to just stop feeling that way or "touch some grass" or whatever. people are allowed to get upset over their creations not doing well, it's a human thing. let's just all be nice to each other and celebrate the show we love instead of undermining people's work. we're literally all just here to have some fun and share our passion

That ao3 fic reminds me of how when George floyd was murdered like three days later some marvel fan made a fic like "on Tuesday george floyd was murdered. On thursday the avengers had a press conference" or some shit like it's literally heinous. White people just see our suffering as fodder for their stupid fantasies and it's so depressing and so demoralizing. How fucked up do you have to be to see us suffering and want to write about it? To sit there and research details about a Black man's murder at the hands of white supremacy, not to educate yourself in the hopes of being more aware about the world or to help the fight with others, but to headcanon how you think these fantasy characters that don't fucking exist might respond to a murder they wouldn't even have blinked at in-canon (and whose actors also frequently remain silent)? Ultimately all for views and likes? Do you people just hate Black people that much?

if youre white, you really gotta make sure youre listening to asian folks. its super scary and its not made any better by you speaking over asian people.
