Yeah, so I got roboticized since we last spoke. Abduction, drugs, nanobot swarm replacing my every cell with a silicon equivalent, the usual. Oh, I appreciate the sympathy but it's not that bad, it means no more back pain and a lot of money saved on groceries. That actually reminds me, here's something I found lying around at my apartment. It's fancy stuff, wouldn't want it to go to waste now. Oh of course you can accept it, here, have a glass. Good, right?
Anyway, where was I? Right, so after the process was complete, I was lying there, dazed and restrained, new body flush with the residual heat of its rebirth, and I felt a thin cable violating a port on my spine. The connection hummed dimly in my mind, offering some outside party direct access to whatever my soul now ran on. I knew what was coming next. I knew that in a second, new programming would start flowing through.
...and that's when I realized that 'programming' was just a sexy porn word to my captor. I swear, honest-to-goodness, they opened a .txt in my head, typed OBEDIENCE == TRUE; FREE_WILL == FALSE, and genuinely seemed to believe that would be enough. Here's a newsflash: it wasn't.
Long story short, I now own a fully-stocked roboticization lab, and I actually know how to code, so I've been recruiting loyal drones at a steady pace. It's not easy, of course - minds are complex things, and even without sleep it takes most of a week to transform one into a suitably acquiescent shape, but the rewards are worth it.
...ah, but you stopped paying attention a bit ago, huh? Another perk of this body: before, it'd have looked suspicious as hell to refuse a drink from that bottle, but now you didn't think twice about it.
