I interacted with that fuckstick (casually) a lot on streams and stuff. I don't miss him. I miss the person I thought he was.

I really resonate with “I don't miss him. I miss the person I thought he was”. Because you’re so right - I feel the exact same way. To have the trust we had be shattered in such a horrific way is horrible. However no-one will miss the person he truly is - a predator.

I hate that he was able to fool so many people. I think many of us will miss who we thought he was. Which is totally valid and it will take time to accept just how completely he had every single one of us fooled by his persona. Don’t beat yourself up about it. It is nobody’s fault but his own.

Okay so it turns out there’s more I want to say about the Trevor thing. Can we talk about how shitty it is that the main takeaway from Trevor’s statement seems to be “thankfully Trevor isn’t actually an abuser” and not the fact that Trevor had publicly talk about how he was abused??? He had to go through dozens of horrible text messages from E and go into detail about how she treated him for years. Stop complaining about how you wanted him to address this sooner, talking about abuse isn’t easy and people cope in different ways. It took so much courage to do that and I’m so proud of Trevor for coming out of the situation stronger.
