You ever think about the watsonian explanation for Rena not going to Jason’s funeral? Do you think that Bruce just… didn’t tell anyone? That no one outside the hero community knew? And even then not the whole community. We know the Titans didn’t know. Even the ones not in space.

So if not even all the HEROES knew. The likelihood civilians other than the commissioner and probably Leslie knowing? Low. Do you ever think about the fact that Rena probably found out on the news? That she turned on the TV or picked the paper, and right on the front was “BRUCE WAYNE’S ADOPTED SON DEAD AT 15” she hadn’t seen or heard from him in over a week and now. He was gone.

Do you ever think about her reaction? How she probably sat down, pressure building behind her eyes as they burned with tears. How it probably took hours for her to calm down. And how she didn’t even know where he was buried.
