Stardew Valley: Marriage Dialogue

This is just a quick masterpost for all the SDV marriage dialogue!  All of it is pulled directly from game files.  I hope it’s useful for fic/art references or just curiosity.

A couple things to note:

- Not everybody has the same amount of dialogue (e.g. Haley has far less than Abigail), that’s not me leaving anything out

- Some lines are repeated between characters, and some lines in the character dialogue files are also generic all-character lines

- The files these are taken from are EngagementDialogue, MarriageDialogue, and the character-specific marriage dialogue files (e.g. MarriageDialogueAbigail).  EngagementDialogue is in the Data folder, the others are in Characters\Dialogue.

- I might do a post with all the generic, all-character lines as well.

the idea of detective pikachu swearing is so fucking funny like. the absolute disregard from this stupid yellow rat who cant remember JACK SHIT except for his one personality trait of BASTARD because ryan reynolds is his humansona.  the whole notion of pikachu, childhood icon, growing the fuck up and doing adult things like getting jacked up on 20 packs of caffeine and fighting in illicit underground rings, should have, in tandem, included him being allowed to cuss like it’s punctuation. detective pikachu should have been given the liberty to swear as and when he liked but we were robbed.

GOD today i served a family of 3 and the dad was like “i’ll have a cappuccino” and the kid, a girl of about 11, was like “PLEASE.” and he was like “uh yeah. please” and the kid goes “well you’re always telling me to remember my manners!!! you should too!!” and i was cracking up

and then she was standing there w her mum while i made their drinks and i asked if the mum wanted chocolate sprinkles and she was like “yes please” and the kid goes “well at least SOMEONE remembered their manners” and then sighed dramatically and HEELYED AWAY and honestly? not sure how to go on knowing i’ll never be as cool as this 11 year old

IMPORTANT, READ!!!

This issue has gotten significantly more serious since I originally made this post. PLEASE READ AND REBLOG IT!!! People need to know this and stay safe.

There’s a user in the community with the url “foulparadisedinosaur” who has been messaging jse community members about Anti, and they’re taking him way too seriously like he isn’t just a fictional character, and they aren’t roleplaying or joking.

They send asks and DMs telling people Anti has tortured/enslaved them, brainwashed them, or done other weird “evil” things to them and has even DMed one of my friends that “Anti drugged their dad.”  They also have sparked false alarms that “Anti has returned” or have asked people when they think Anti will come back, despite Jack clearly letting us know he has no plans for a long time. They cause fake community fires and unnecessary panic attacks because they are disturbingly obsessed with Anti. Worst of all, I was told by a friend that they DMed someone telling the person Anti wanted them to do inappropriate sexual things to themselves for him.

Even if you don’t reply to their messages, they continue to send things “begging you for help” or “information on Anti” or really disturbing requests “on Anti’s behalf” and such. They kept messaging me over and over with different pleas and uncomfortable messages. It got bad enough I blocked them and recently they somehow found a sideblog I haven’t posted on in a long time and messaged me there. I’ve now blocked them on all my blogs, but I have seen them sending asks to/messaging a TON of my mutuals saying the same disturbing or falsely alarming things they were sending me.

BLOCK THIS USER IMMEDIATELY.

Especially if you are easily triggered or get super anxious easily! For the sake of your mental health, block them! Do NOT attack them or message them accusing them of things. Just block them immediately and make sure they can’t contact you. I don’t think they’re purposely malicious, but they send extremely disgusting and disturbing messages about Anti that take him way too seriously. It’s pretty hard to disturb me but they made me extremely uncomfortable with their messages, and I know there are a lot of people that are a lot more sensitive to this type of thing than I am. Even if making people uncomfortable isn’t their intent, what they’re saying is really concerning and not okay whatsoever.
