It was a bit of an understatement, at least Michael thought as he stared at the burning cargobob at the foot of the mountain. Police sirens were still echoing from downtown Los Santos, growing louder as they drew near toward Mount Chilliad where they were currently holding refuge.
Somewhere out there, Geoff, Jack, and Gavin had the stolen cash and ideally had lost the cops by this point. After all, it was their job to keep the police distracted while Team A made a quick get away with the goods.
Ryan paced to the right and peered down the mountain towards the Alamo Sea.
☠ “We could go down there and swim our way to the Airfield. Steal a plane and continue towards the rendezvous.”
Michael folded his arms and shifted his weight to one side.
⚡ “And risk running into the cops? Wouldn’t it be smarter to snatch a boat by the beach and loop around? We can’t risk running into the police again.”
☠ “If we take a boat and they do see us, we’re good as dead.”
⚡ “If they catch us while we’re fucking swimming across the Alamo, Ryan, we’ll be fish in a fucking barrel! It’s not like we can Outlast 2 our way across it; we’re dealing with the fucking police force, not psychopathic maniacs. Excluding you.”
☠ “Well...!”
Ryan threw his arms in the air, but fell silent and his arms just fell back against his side. There was a pause as the blond glanced back down towards the Alamo then out towards the Bay. With a sigh, he looked at Ray.

Dan was grinning ear-to-ear when he showed up at Gav’s place with a black suitcase in one hand and two closed beers in the other. He insisted on meeting in the backyard and wouldn’t accept no for an answer, despite it being nearly two in the morning.
“B, you’ll never guess what came in today.”
He handed Gavin a beer and knelt down on the grass, laying down the suitcase and opening it with his free hand. The top fell back onto the ground and a set of ten or so grenades was revealed under the orange light of some nearby street light. Dan looked up at Gavin with a mischievous smile before remembering that they were lackluster without explanation.
“They’re not just any grenades.”
The ex-soldier reached down and pulled one of the grenades, an iridescent one that changed colours in the light, from the case and lifted it up.
“They’re special concussion grenades, a radius about seventeen or eighteen percent bigger than standard, and guess what? They’re flashy as hell! We should go to the Airfield and test ‘em.”
So, random update, *clears throat* THE AH RAP BATTLE IS OUT!!

He almost didn’t hear the knock. He wasn’t expecting one– he hadn’t invited any late-night gentlemanly callers tonight. And he would never do that, oh no! That would not be appropriate! However, had he been expecting someone he wouldn’t be currently sitting in bed in nothing but his undergarments.
When he did get out of bed to address the knock, he pulled the top blanket overtop of him– there was no way he was going towillingly let someone– potentially a stranger– see the prince in barely anything at all. However, it was only when he answered the window that he realized it didn’t matter at all.
“ Daniel! ” he exclaimed, trying to pull the violet-eyed man into his room before he was either caught, or fell out of the window entirely. “ You’re going to get yourself killed! What are you doing here?! “
“Nah,”
he chuckled, hauling himself up into the room upon feeling Gav’s hands pulling him up into the window. He crawled in a little awkwardly, nearly falling flat on his face, and stood again when he had better grounding, dusting himself off. He took a casual glance out the window and shut the glass before anyone looked up the tower.
He crossed the distance from the window to the vanity chair and considered to take himself a seat; he’d been climbing all that way, he wanted nothing more than to sleep now, but not yet. He couldn’t even bring himself to sit, so he turned and opened his arms dramatically.
“I came to rescue you!”
he exclaimed excitedly as if he had no fear, then snapped into a little more serious expression, rushing aside to look for something.
“Seriously. Bag your things. We hafta be well gone by morning.”
