GTA AU where Gavin and Ryan don’t know each other but accidently add each other on snapchat and end up in a competition of who can commit the most outrageous crime.

Gavin posts a snap on his story hijacking a truck full of raybans so Ryan one-ups him by posting a picture of himself wearing five Gucci belts next to a delivery truck.

Gavin snaps a picture posing next to a cop he’s handcuffed to his car, so Ryan posts of a picture of the entire LSPD chained to their desks.

Gavin steals a fire truck so Ryan posts a video of the fire station set on fire with his maniacal laughter in the background.

Gavin posts a selfie from the back of a cop car with the crying emoji over his face, and half an hour later Ryan adds a video to his story of him and Gavin driving down Chiliad as a police helicopter circles them.

⚡                           “Yep. Yep…”

It was a bit of an understatement, at least Michael thought as he stared at the burning cargobob at the foot of the mountain. Police sirens were still echoing from downtown Los Santos, growing louder as they drew near toward Mount Chilliad where they were currently holding refuge.

Somewhere out there, Geoff, Jack, and Gavin had the stolen cash and ideally had lost the cops by this point. After all, it was their job to keep the police distracted while Team A made a quick get away with the goods.

Ryan paced to the right and peered down the mountain towards the Alamo Sea.

☠                         “We could go down there and swim our way to the Airfield. Steal a plane and continue towards the rendezvous.”

Michael folded his arms and shifted his weight to one side.

⚡                           “And risk running into the cops? Wouldn’t it be smarter to snatch a boat by the beach and loop around? We can’t risk running into the police again.”

☠                         “If we take a boat and they do see us, we’re good as dead.”

⚡                           “If they catch us while we’re fucking swimming across the Alamo, Ryan, we’ll be fish in a fucking barrel! It’s not like we can Outlast 2 our way across it; we’re dealing with the fucking police force, not psychopathic maniacs. Excluding you.”

☠                         “Well…!”

Ryan threw his arms in the air, but fell silent and his arms just fell back against his side. There was a pause as the blond glanced back down towards the Alamo then out towards the Bay. With a sigh, he looked at Ray.

☠                         “I dunno. What do you think, Ray?”

Despite the current situation that they were in, Ray’s sniper rifle and pistol had at least survived. He had knelt down next to his two fellow crew members to check the amount of ammunition he had left and carefully load them back into their respective weapons. Listening idly to the other two go over ideas, he considered the options they had.

The cops would be concentrating on ground and air units, he figured, so using the water ways would be their best bet either way, but it was a matter of which way to go about it.

“Boat’s a bigger target.” He mused as he finished loading up the final bullets of his rifle. “They’re more likely to go investigate it since it’s in the area.” Another brief silence fell between them as an idea came to Ray’s mind. Maybe it was possible to use both scenarios to their advantage. 

“What if...” He began slowly, standing up. “We go down, push a boat out, set the engine going and make it look like it’s heading out towards the ocean... but we make our way elsewhere. Even if the cops do see it, they’re distracted and we have more chance of getting away.”

          ❝  do you want in n out ? or maccers ? or sushi ?  ❞  gavin could have gone on listing various types of food or establishments where they could go to get food but he wasn’t all that fussy. as long as it wasn’t soggy bread he was pretty much happy to eat anything. nothing worse than wet bread or burgers with floppy wet buns.  ❝  three hours minimum,  ❞  the brit snorted with amusement at the fact there was a minimum requirement for video game time to recover from a pretty simple job.

once ray was in, gavin tore off down the road heading in the direction of the penthouse. of course, he took a few detours so that if anyone was following them then it’d give them a chance to shake them. it also gave them a chance to decide where to go and get food. a disappointed noise sounded from gavin at the mention of bikers. now, gavinclaimed not be a fan of unnecessary violence but hitting bikers on the road was possibly his favourite pastime. it wasn’t his fault they were so annoying and inconvenient !  he was doing other drivers a favour !

         ❝  you’re no fun. ryebread would let me,  ❞  he huffed, although he complied. he didn’t want them getting in trouble then having to call geoff to bail them out. it’d be more trouble than it was worth if they had to get geoff to get treyco to play lawyer for them.  

“In n Out’s good, I could go for a burger. Do the drive through though, I can’t be bothered to get out.” That way they’d be a bit further from the penthouse to prevent cops tailing them, and they could grab something quick to satisfy their hunger. It also meant nobody would recognise them - or at least not until it was too late. 

Glancing at the side mirror to look for anything suspicious, he then gave a grin at Gavin’s disappointment. He knew full well that Ryan and Gavin had some kind of vendetta against bikers and would always look for opportunities to knock them off. Thankfully Ryan wasn’t here to encourage the Brit.

“That’s because Ryan’s a lunatic who doesn’t care if he ends up in jail. Half the cops in this city don’t even want to arrest him, but he’s not here right now so you’ll have to deal with it.” He pointed out.

                                                                the  wicked  necromancer  act  drops  quickly,  scientific  curiosity  too  strong  an  urge  to  suppress.   he  lifts  the  knife  above  his  head,  point - down,  brow  furrowing  as  he  lowers  and  raises  it  a  few  times  in  an  attempt  to  judge  distances.    “  i  mean,  doesn’t  everyone  want  to  donate  their  bodies  to  SCIENCE,  ray?  “    a  pause  as  he  looks  up,  studies  the  buildings  above  them.    “  so … V = gt,  if  we  just  drop  it  and  don’t  like,  throw  it  down … how  much  mass  would  you  say  this  has?  “

There was a period of silence as Ryan ‘cast his spell’, as it were. Amazingly, nothing happened. Ray started at him with a deadpan look. “Wow. I’m terrified.” He said in a monotone voice that definitely wasn’t terrified whatsoever. Although, in all fairness, he wasn’t sure if he’d be impressed or scared if the other man’s sudden gift of raising undead armies had turned out to be true.

He briefly blanked as Ryan rattled on about letters equalling other letters, before he was asked another question. He blew out a puff of air between his lips as a signal of confusion. “I dunno man. I mean is it one of your throwing knives or a regular one? I remember you saying some shit about your throwing knives being balanced and that’s about it.”
