hi! welcome to my tiny corner of the internet where i share tidbits of everything i love🤍 ━━━ ⋆me⋆ ━━━ i’m a psychology student and an english teacher, which probably explains why i overanalyze fictional characters, annotate books like a maniac and turn everything into a discussion about symbolism or human behavior. i mostly talk about films, music, art, fashion, literature, psychology and feminism with occasional dive into theology, sociology, history, culture, criminology, media and politics.

i’m mainly in the hp fandom, but i also spend time in pjo, lotr, asoiaf, narnia, disney, alice in wonderland, the hobbit, marvel, avengers, star wars, btvs, tvd, twilight and classic literature fandoms.
honestly, there are far too many others to list. i tend to drift wherever the story (or characters) are interesting. if you’re wondering whether i’m in a fandom i didn’t list, just ask — i probably am.

what i tend to avoid is • horror, • botched adaptations of classic works, • anything with overly polished “netflix-style” lighting (i really hate it), • and films that feel like “millennial dream man” stories, where there’s 5 minute plot and 115 minute smut (side-eyes at fsog). • i also dislike shows like love island, kuwtk and tv series like bridgerton. • tv series i love: the nanny, mind your language, friends, sabrina the teenage witch, the golden girls, good omens, buffy the vampire slayer, the vampire diaries, merlin, downton abbey, h20, oshin, jewel in the palace, sungkyunkwan scandal, hotelier, boys over flowers, you’re beautiful, winter sonata, seoyoung, my daughter, be strong geum soon, love rain.
• movies i love : mulan, princess and the frog, grave of the fireflies, my neighbour totoro, the karate kid, the sorcerer and the white snake, coraline, 101 dalmations, you’ve got mail, the parent trap, the sound of music, edward scissorhands, sweeney todd, oppenheimer, phantom of opera, bram stroker's dracula. legally blonde, little women (1994), anne of green gables (1985), black swan, joker, atonement, miss peregrine's home for peculiar children, the house with clocks on its walls, a roman holiday, darling lily, mary poppins, yeh jawaani hai deewani, barfi, mujhse dosti karoge, om shanti om, aiyya, bajirao mastani, bajrangi bhaijaan. • tv programmes i love : anthony bourdain's parts unknown and no reservation, man v food, cake boss, gordon ramsay's kitchen nightmares and hotel hell, hgtv color splash etc. ━━━ ⋆music⋆ ━━━ i mostly listen to classic rock, j-rock, glam rock, garage rock (honestly i love every sub-genre of rock), neoclassical, madchester, alternative, oldies, pop punk, britpop, teenpop, latin pop, first-gen kpop, 70s/80s pop, classical, renaissance/medieval/baroque music, folk, celtic, gregorian chants and opera/orchestral music. i don’t really listen to rap, hip hop or heavier metal genres much. they’re just not usually my style, though i occasionally like a few songs here and there depending on the artist or mood.
• favourite bands : one direction, the beatles, abba, luv, boney m., arctic monkeys, queen, the smiths, blur, westlife, the vamps, fin.k.l, bon jovi, the cure, daughters of eve • favourite singers: lana del rey, hozier, elliot james raey, stephen sanchez, david kushner, david bowie, adele, billy joel, jim reeves, frank sintara arjit singh, shreya goshal, whitney houstan, selena quintanilla, lee hyori, jennie. ━━━ ⋆games⋆ ━━━ i only play hogwarts legacy (not anymore), talking angela ii, township, june's journey and good coffee. ━━━ ⋆fashion ⋆ ━━━ absolutely adore learning outfits from different cultures and fashion history. • favourite fashion aesthetics : dark desi core, downtown, dark femme, frugal chic, millenial optimism, dark academia, english countryside, twee, y2k minimalism, medieval fairy fashion. • style details i love: leopard print, polka dots, jewel and earthy tones, layered silhouettes, turtlenecks, trench coats, leather jackets, laced jeans, flowy dresses, mismatched fits and accessories, wired earphones, leather bags, white tattoos, corsets, berets, lace details, ballet flats, boots, vintage mixed jewellery, cherry cola hair, ear piercings, black eyeliner, fun eye shadow, brown lip liner, red lipstick and clear lip gloss. ━━━ ⋆food & bevs.⋆ ━━━ i love, love trying dishes from different cultures. asian and mexican dishes are my favourites. i have a high spice tolerance and have always been more of a savoury/spicy girl than a sweet tooth one. but i have a very soft spot for anything chocolate. • i live for rice, spicy pasta, lasagna and savoury girl dinner plates. • the only veggies i genuinely like are; broccoli, mushrooms, garlic, potatoes, chillies, bell pepper, peas and corn. • will never get tired of eating, pomegranates, figs, citrus fruits, berries, blood oranges, poached pears. • brownies, tiramisu, dark chocolate, chocolate chip cookies and mousse are my favourite sweet treats. i also loove sour candies! • the only alcoholic beverage i consume occasionally is red wine. i prefer non-alcoholic/fun mocktails over alcoholic ones. • apart from coffee, i do like any other coffee type (that doesn't have matcha) and hot chocolate. • my favourite soft drinks would be dr pepper (used to be coke) and any soda that have grapes or cherry. ━━━ ⋆random facts⋆ ━━━ • spring baby who loves autumn. i love easter, christmas and halloween!) • while all of asia has my heart, i do have a soft spot for ireland and scotland. home, gothic churches, libraries, coffee shops, forests are my favourite places. • adore gloomy weathers • i love foxes, wolves, dachshunds, king charles spaniels, newfoundlands, black cats, whale sharks, penguins, otters, black or kiger mustangs, ravens and doves :) • professional overthinker, procastinator, perfectionist rolled in one. • chronically nostalgic for time periods i never lived in. • sleep schedule is permanently ruined. • has way too many interests to function normally. • has approximately 700 personalities depending on mood. • grew up with angelic parents and an even more angelic maternal grandma. • gets emotionally attached to fictional characters very easily. • constantly replays scenes, songs and conversations in my head. • homebody • spend too much time organizing than working. ━━━ ⋆interactions⋆ ━━━
