I have wanted to do something with ‘always negative!’ for a long time, and idk, it felt relevant for the “cowardly/brave” theme. I know a lot of people think its just badass that Usopp is immune to Negative Hollow, but I read it as really sad, esp when thriller bark is just after water seven, aka Sad Usopp Arc number one. Also I know Sanji didn’t mean the ‘i don’t care if you die usopp’ shit, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a pretty shitty thing to say, esp to someone with low confidence.
