I don’t get the Mary hate at all.

me neither, bestie. it’s so nice how the fandom now is so pro-Mary because when I watched Downton back in the day there was a lot of people who disliked her outside of her relationship with Matthew. I’ve always been a ride or die for Mary and that has never wavered— it’s only gotten stronger. It’s refreshing how many lovely new friends I’ve made who love Mary!
