21.07.17 // my first studyblr post! hereâs my desk and my old laptop, which I only use to watch netflix now ft. a yellowish mug from hungary and polish postcards.
02.08.17 Went to the library today to do some project research đŞ
07.23.15. ap physics was essentially a self-study class for me, which in the long run turned out to be a good thing because studying for this is pretty much the same thing :â)
update: I got into university + did well in my a levels! got a D3 in Pre U English literature (A equivalent but way harder than the standard English lit a level), A* in Geography and 97.5%! And an A in Politics although I scored 91.5% ? Bit upset I didnât get an A* in it considering the high % but oh well! Starting university in less than a month wooooo!!!!!!

pro-tips for college
pls donât feel like you need to rewrite your notes and make them pretty
if it helps you great! if it doesnât youâre wasting time you could spend understanding the material. it took me a long time to realize that the aesthetic isnât as important as the info. do what makes your notes productive for you!
you donât have to study at your desk in your dorm room/apartment
you donât have to study in the library
BRING SNACKS ALWAYS
be realistic about what youâre gonna get done
nothing is worse than bringing a really heavy textbook across campus to study and then not even opening it
really not joking about the snacks tho
water is good
i have a sippy camelbak water bottle and i can sip on it while i do stuff and i swear to god itâs a lifesaver and i love it
sleep
no really i mean it, sleep, i know pulling all nighters and cramming the night before will always seem like the best option, but a well rested mind is much more capable one
talk to your friends/family about stuff!Â
even if it feels like you have no time to, i promise itâll make you feel so much better
always carry an umbrella
always carry extra pencils/pens/erasers/lead
if you have contacts/glasses, bring the cases, cleaning cloth, extra saline whatever you might need with you (iâve had many a contact freak out, trust me being blind and taking notes is not fun)
donât stress lol yeah like thatâs possible
11/04/2017 :: Maths and coffee.
June 2017. Writing down my days and listening to âMelodramaâ on repeat. A couple of lines resonated with me: I light all the candles / cut flowers for all my rooms / I care for myself the way I used to care about you. I wish to take care of myself better someday. đ¸studygram:sadgirlstudyingđ¸

Throwback of some of my favorite spreads. I was kinda surprised myself for being able to fit this in an A6 notebook.
omg itâs been like 500 years since I did anything on this blog...
oops sorry I was on my second co-op and then summer classes took over my life so the internet wasnât really a thing for me
I guess this means Iâm back and Iâll start trying to post stuff again!
hi friends!
i finally made a decent icon and updated my theme and stuff. lemme know if it looks okay/any suggestionsÂ
âEvery accomplishment begins with the decision to tryâ
15 things I tell myself when I don't want to work/study
1. You are very lucky and privileged to have access to almost unlimited knowledge and you should appreciate that. 2. Be one of those rare people who step over their insecurities and succeed. 3. Only 5 minutes. Only today. (Repeat it 5 minutes later and every day). 4. You will know what to do as soon as you start. Ideas never appear from inactivity. 5. Make yourself proud. 6. One hour every day doesnât feel much but itâs 365 hours a year. You canât not succeed after so much work. 7. Itâs not supposed to be easy. Nothing good is easy. 8. If you had a child to look after, youâd make them study because you want them to accomplish something. Donât you love yourself? 9. âEverything you want is on the other side of fearâ George Adair 10. Every mistake increases our chance to make progress. 11. If you give up now, youâll have to return to this later anyway but from the very beginning. 12. Let the process be your result. 13. Every moment you thought your fears would suppress you has become the time you made it. 14. Maybe you think you can never find something to use your skills and mindset for. But if you continue investing in what matters to you, it will find its way out there. 15. I allow you to think globally. You have a right to the boldest dream.
