New episode alert! Max Magee joins us to recap this year's @221bcon! We talk waffles, Drunk Canon, our favorite panels, and other shenanigans.
May the Fourth Be With You! And May It Be With Sherlock Holmes, Especially!
Today, we're talking about the original fandom meaning behind this date and why it's so important. How does a tragedy at a waterfall end up making a detective immortal?

NEW episode alert! It's a long-overdue Live & Local from @221bcon this past April in Atlanta, Georgia! Joining us on this podcast panel is Ashley Polasek, to help us talk about bad guys in the Canon and a few in real life as well.
Also, a big thanks to David Harnois for editing this into a decent listen! There was a lot of audience participation, and none of us were using mics. 😅

NEW episode! This time, we talk with Crystal Noll and Heather Holloway, outgoing directors of @221bcon, about the Con. We get a behind-the-scenes look at the past year, we recap this year’s Con, and we talk a little bit about the future. You can listen at the link above, or on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other podcast players!
It’s finally time for a belated recap of the Sherlock Holmes @ 50 Conference this past summer in Minneapolis! Ashley Polasek returns to help
It's a New Year's miracle! We have a NEW EPISODE. 😁
Ashley Polasek joins us to recap the Sherlock Holmes @ 50 conference in Minneapolis this past summer. Check it out!
MORIARTY: It won't do, you know... it won't do. […] Holmes is a mere amateur in the field of detection. Still… he seems a clever man or a lucky one. And he has a positive talent for getting in my way.

It's a Moriarty Monday! Kind of!
We have a new Live & Local episode, recorded at @221bcon, where we had a blast talking about Star Trek and the intersection of Star Trek and Sherlock Holmes!
Happy International Women's Day! 😉😁🥰
Hello, hello! We have a couple of things to share with you today:
1. While we have always been an irregularly-scheduled podcast, we would like you to know that we are officially on a Little Hiatus (not a Great one) for a couple of months, until 221B Con in April. Mostly this is so that Madeline can get her feet back under her after over-committing (oops).
2. The good news is that AFTER we get back from hiatus, we are going to do our best to be a Regularly-Scheduled podcast! Well, okay, we probably won't hit the same drop date every month, but we want to be able to drop a new episode every month. We're on season 4 now, and it's time! 😁
So, please, let us know what you'd like to see more of on the show! Our interview and guest episodes regularly get the most downloads, and our discussion episodes... don't fare too well, honestly. So is there anything you would like to hear in our discussion episodes that you haven't so far? (Aside from more of Dixie and less of Madeline's giggle — that's a given!) Please let us know — we'd love to hear more from our listeners!
See you in April!
Happy nights at Rosie Dunn’s in midtown Manhattan (plus a hazy view of the “Vote for Moriarty” button). It’s episode one of season four, and
NEW EPISODE! It’s number one of season FOUR, and we’ve got a great episode to celebrate! Monica Schmidt is here to help us recap this year’s BSI Birthday Weekend in New York City, and talk about what it’s like to participate in what amounts to the world’s biggest Sherlockian family reunion.
We had a terrific time talking about... our terrific time. 😁 Plus, our show notes cover a host of links for things that were recorded during the Weekend and other recaps that preceded ours! Enjoy!

Claire Daines returns as a guest host to talk with us about a wacky little cartoon from the late Nineties: Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century! (Cue the theme song.)
It’s our second-ever adaptation discussion, and we go all in, talking about Holmes getting a second lease on life, the crazy ethics of the 22nd century, Detective Inspector Beth Lestrade, and, of course, the clone James Moriarty. What makes this show worth watching, and what would we love to see from a reboot that we’ll probably never get?
All this and more from our vaguely Christmassy episode! Happy Holidays!
