So here’s my issue with Nesta’s new sexual behavior. I would have no problem if Nesta was having sex because she enjoyed it like the rest of the characters but she’s doing it to ‘feel something.’ Yeah a lot of people cope with trauma differently but this wasn’t necessary.

In a series that is so focused on sex having a character who was choosing to obstain was a big deal. Nesta’s decisions on why could have been what she told Cassian about not bothering with low born brutes or it could literally have really been that she tried so hard to emotionally protect herself from people. And for Feyre a character who started the book openly sleeping with a married guy and questioning if she could ask him to still meet once he’s married. To Mor and individual who sleeps with Helion as a way of telling Azriel to leave her alone. It’s a load of judgemental shit.

The sad part is that the way Feyre and Rhys treat Nesta reminds me of the way Feyre and her PTSD were treated by Tamlin.

honestly the idea that this Dumbledore

I hate that some people are so dense that they need disclaimers for every single thing, like when women say “men are…” you know good and goddamn well they aren’t referring to every single man. It’s billions of us, how the fuck would they know all of us?

Whenever I hear these statements, I interpret it as “Not all men, but enough men to make this a prominent issue amongst men”

Same shit with “white people are…” Get the fuck out your feelings and actually listen so you can address the concerns of these people instead of defending people that ain’t shit.
