The Pacific Yew grows only in the Pacific NW and is the slowest growing conifer in the world. Because it grows so slowly, a tree this size could be 500 years old. One could spend an entire day counting the growth rings of this beautiful box and wondering about the life of this tree. Please note that any cracks or flaws are a natural part of the beauty found in this box. ~*~ THE DIMENSIONS Exterior Dimensions: 9.75 x 8.75 x 4.25 Interior Dimensions: 6.75 x 6.25 x 2.5 (Will hold cremains of an approx. 105 lb living being) We finish all of our woodworking with Claphams Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish.
