Stop making this about you. It's not about you! I'm sorry, but I am not the reason that you don't have any friends. It's because you're fucking insane. Okay? Your little party? It almost killed everyone. And now you've ruined book club.

So many posts and articles saying that "only boys ever watched Masters of the Universe in the 80's." That's right, exclusively boys and only in the '80's, no one else ever watched and liked/loved it, ever.
Okay, do you have proof other than "boys in one corner and girls in the other"? Because girls watched He-Man and boys watched She-Ra. I guess most of these wildly broad statements are coming from people who were not alive in those times or simply assume that girls did not consume content with male main characters and vice versa.
Which we fucking know is extremely not the case, like wow, for real, they are actually saying this.
You really assume that we girls did not want to watch She-Ra's hot brother in his own adventures with a cast of amazing side characters and a rich mythology that bound both stories together? Really?? Prove it. I was there. This is one of the stupidest takes I've had to read over fifty times in every single article anticipating and complaining about the new MOTU movie.
I haven't seen the new movie yet (and obviously I wish Jared Leto wasn't in it) but I'm just saying it's total bullshit to claim that the only audience is fifty year old men (the numbers aren't even right; the original age range goes about five years back and forward from that, assuming you weirdly insist that no one who was not a kid in the '80's liked / likes He-Man) Meanwhile, I and every other kid I knew, regardless of gender, regularly watched the original show and the movie from the '80's (that had Tom Paris from Voyager and Courteney Cox; I mean obviously I watched all of these like a zillion times, why would I hate fun because I'm a girl?).

I had you. No, you didn't. Oh, yeah. I had you big time. You had nothing. Come on, I saw you jiggle the handle.

I mean it should definitely be scary when after 40 years you suddenly realize you perhaps also do relate to the concept of family but not with literally anyone you tried just because accepting the only true family offered to you meant accepting things about yourself.
