This is Aoife. She is a crow.

Aoife does not understand the mission, but she loves the sibling she has picked up. For all her motivations come across as shifty and mysterious, she is only her devotion. Her true motive is only a step off of playing lancer.

Her role in The Crow child’s life as a caretaker and a mouthpiece makes her a bit of a contradiction. She is a primary source of affection and an aid in their mission. But, she is thusly, an insecurity in that mission. The effort and success she has understanding The Crow Child, when she doesn’t even have a human perspective to start with is dangerous, in The Crow Child’s eyes. They might forget the fire while basking in Aoife’s warmth. But, then she fails. She tries so hard and loves them more than they know anyone should, and she fails anyway. She speaks for them, and there is nothing they can do but hate and love her in equal measure.

the back of his head/hair is indeed feathery! he usually clips the feathers though. they get in the way of clothes too much
