excuse me
no pants im afraid
listen to me, this is so so important: you've gotta get used to really giving it your 60% as a default. like don't half-ass it necessarily but try not to go over 70% or so of an ass. you'll feel better and live a happier more fulfilled life, and on the rare occasions where you do need to lock the fuck in you'll be able to pull off bullshit that the sad miserable wretches giving it their 100% can never dream off, because they're busy draining themselves dry and you have energy reserves to spare.
This is actually what I was adviced to do at the work rehabilitation program I went to. Hasn't left my mind since. 10/10 solid advice
how it feels remembering charlie kirk got shot through the neck and died
it's a well-known secret among time travelers that you can just do whatever you want to genghis khan and it won't affect history at all. just last week i visited late 12th century mongolia to do a Hot Ones-style interview with him and someone had already given him a PBR baseball cap and a steam deck- the butterfly effect has that name for a reason but temüjin's destiny is just so firmly rooted that no amount of interference could possibly change it. dude absolutely kills it at Crypt of the Necrodancer
they don't tell you this but when an event is advertised as "for all ages" they mean kids. they mean kids. if you, a grown-up, show up expecting to do the arts'n'crafts, you're the weirdo. even though they said "all ages."
no shade to OP bc i get the frustration and I wish we had a different category to convey this, or maybe just used more clear language like "kids of all ages."
but as a parent this actually has a more specific meaning in any event that is open to kids, and that's the contextual information that this kid-friendly activity or event doesn't have a more restricted age group. if you have a 3 year old and a 9 year old, you quickly discover that many things advertised to families or children do have actual age limits they failed to convey clearly. the thing that will welcome the 3 year old will tell you the 9 yo is too old. the 9 yo wants to go to this thing that claims it's for kids but, ope, actually they won't let anyone under 5 join.
"all ages" should mean what it says on the tin, but what it actually often means is "this kid-centered event/activity has options welcoming both the 3 and 9 year old, and also the 15 year old cousin"

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) - The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division announces the continued investigation of the theft and destruction of multiple FLOCK cameras. Wesley Jackson, 20, of Gerrardstown, was arrested on July 16 for his alleged involvement. Jackson has been charged with damage, destruction or theft of equipment used by emergency responders and conspiracy to commit a felony, according to officials. The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office says they remain committed to a thorough investigation and expects additional arrests. House Bill 2066 was passed in 2025 to make the charge ‘damage, destruction or theft of equipment used by first responders’ a felony offense and will have at least 1 year in jail. Jackson has already posted his $15,000 PR bond.
Anybody know if there's a legal defense fundraiser or w/e for this innocent man who's being falsely accused of committing a cool crime?

erika kirk being handed the golden opportunity to be the face of conservatives for the rest of her life and then fumbling it instantly by being genuinely unlikable and off-putting will always be funny to me almost as funny as remembering that charlie kirk got shot in the neck and died
Being a henchman suuuucks dude. This latest guy I'm working for, the War-Madillo, he's got a, an Armadillo- motif, or theme, or whatever, right? That's fine, fine, I did a two-month stint with a Marmoset-themed guy once, it's not bottom of the barrel- except. Except. It turns out, he picked the Armadillo thing because he thinks that they're obligate carnivores. Which they kind of are, I mean I googled this, they're insectivores, but he thinks that they're like, land piranhas. He thinks they work in packs to take down significantly larger animals. He thinks they lay eggs in the remains of their prey. He's killed like three guys for trying to correct him. Me and the other guys are paying out of pocket to get the poor little guys in his Armadillo pit food that they can actually eat. Every time he drops some sucker into that thing we all have to draw straws to see who's gonna have to go in and gnaw on the body so he thinks the Armadillos are doing it. Thank god it's such a long drop
