Castlevania (N64) - Invisible Sorrow
@beevean
Yes, but this is an arrangement, the original is more of an ambient music. The majority of the soundtrack is atmospheric, save for a few exceptions.

Commission for the latest episode of Retronauts, which you can listen to early over here.
Colored one of daburoku’s versions of Sonia Belmont from Castlevania for a commission recently. Though I don’t think Sonia’d be caught dead wearing Dracula’s colors, she wears them quite well don’t you think? ;)
"Erm!!! Everything about Castlevania Judgment sucks!!" LOUD AND WRONG! Because by saying that you're also saying Cornell is bad which is objectively false, obviously.
THIS IS A CERTIFIED CORNELL APPRECIATION POST 💜
Insane glow up.
Am I allowed in yet?
Some little easter eggs featuring IGA (a book and a portrait), a map of Europe and other textures. All found inside Rinaldo's cabin.
Soma×Mina
Of all the pairings in Castlevania, Soma and Mina are my favorite.
I like the detail that talking to her restores Soma's hp. This small detail is nice, as Mina's presence acts as a healing factor for Soma. And the fact that through these conversations, during the time when Soma realized himself as Dracula, it shows that Mina is worried about him.
In those same conversations in Aria, you can see that Soma is genuinely worried about what Mina will think of him in this state. After all, she's probably his only friend. (I don't remember the exact phrase; it was a long time ago when I played. ;-;)
Mina's letter from Dawn also clearly shows her concern for Soma, but also her acceptance that she won't be able to convince him otherwise and is simply asking him to come back when he can. They both worry about each other.
I like that in the good ending of Aria, when you have all the souls, Soma jokes a little about how he's changed, and Mina jokes along with him. :D
Letter:
Dear Soma,
If you're reading this, you've probably gone after that cult. I had a feeling you would when you disappeared after that incident. I know that you worry about me, Soma. But I worry just as much about you, too. I won't ask you to come back right away because you're way too stubborn. But please promise me that whatever happens, you'll come back unharmed. Oh, and don't forget about the talisman! I'm sure it'll come in handy. I'll be praying for you.
Always, Mina
