not that i can really blame biyi for being hostile towards toye. i mean before the warriors of the deep showed up, toye's dad was doing a pretty good job threatening the river settlement on his own

i think toye is also a bit too logic-minded in a way that has innocent intentions but potentially insensitive outcomes. like i cringed so hard when they were standing in the wrecked shack and toye said "no one could've survived this"
