this is an ic-run blog for dave egbert, a kidswap version of dave strider from homestuck. he's from the same timeline as john strider at rocknrollerskates (and more tangentially, the alternate john strider at edgarallen-foe), and is a former child star, once part of a family vlog run by his guardian, colloquially known online as big bro. he's 27 now, living in minnesota and playing roles in comedic and surreal movies, mostly of b-list fame, while fighting for a better world as an activist against exploitation. unfortunately, he's also a conservatee under his cousin and crockercorp CEO, dirk crocker. damn!

Squidward's whole deal is that he was a scion of Old Money who got really into Marxism in college and decided he couldn't live with himself as a beneficiary of the Bourgeoisie. He cut ties with his parents and went to live as a proletariat for a few years to better his music.

Of course, what was supposed to be a short term service industry job before he lived for his art has bloomed into just being his life, and life as a poor artist is never as romantic as one imagines. While the cost of living of Bikini Bottom is low enough that even a frycook can be a homeowner, it's not quite so low that he can afford the luxuries he was used to growing up.

His view of the Working Class as the downtrodden masses were rather tattered by years of living between SpongeBob and Patrick, who were not so much temporarily oppressed intellectuals as they were, well, SpongeBob and Patrick.

Still, through thick and thin he's never gone back on his decision to leave the money behind. The great irony is that he is ignorant of his greatest achievement—his superiority to Squilliam isn't turning a bunch of randos into a functioning Marching Band or turning a burger joint into a fine dining establishment, it's having the strength of character to look at all the advantages Squilliam had and choose to leave it behind.

I was just looking up the various fonts used in Undertale to confirm something, and most of the answers were expected ones – Papyrus, Comic Sans, Wingdings, etc. – and then I got to the font used for displaying your stats in battle, and... well now.

(For those who are also learning this fact for the first time today, apparently the font used for stats in battle is a custom typeface originally designed for the 2010 indie Flash game Lesbian Spider Queens of Mars called "Mars Needs Cunnilingus". Imagine a skeleton named that.)

The files of Mario Super Sluggers contain an unused early model of Daisy that has mysterious finger bones inside her hands. All other characters, both used and unused, are completely boneless.

It must be noted that model control points used to rig animations are usually called "bones" in the industry, but those are not themselves modeled, and their visual representation (often as cones or other simple shapes) exists only within the 3D modeling program for the benefit of the designer.

These bones, however, are actually modeled, which is highly unusual for the kind of bones discussed in the above paragraph, and is mostly the case for when literal bones actually need to be seen in-game, such as for cartoony animations of a character's skeleton being visible.

It is speculated that there may have been an oversight during the model export that has assigned a model to the bones. Either way, it is notable if it is an error (especially since it makes them look like actual real-life bones seemingly coincidentally), and highly bizarre if it is on purpose (as nothing explains what kind of purpose having bones only in the hands, and only for Daisy, would have).
