People not listening to me when I make gentle suggestions, and forcing me to actively enforce my boundaries, because I’m a people pleaser and I can’t stand the thought of coming off as aggressive or disappointing people I care about,

Birthday parties, cons, and other significant events that I really want to go well, because the more I’m looking forward to something, the more my brain worries that it’ll be ruined or something will go wrong! I call it “pedestalling” 🤦‍♀️

Stomach issues.

My partner.

Physical touch / Back rubs that feel insincere.

Having to reply to text messages and phone calls 24/7. My ringtone itself gives me anxiety.

If you own a phone you’re never alone. All your friends and acquaintances are always. With. You.

In your house. In your room. Even if they’re not actually there, they ARE.

The goddamn phones took us away the privilege to be alone.
