Gouache Painting practice. I discovered how fluffy moon bears are.
#Doggust final batch. In this series, Scottish Deerhound, Dobermann Pinscher, Great Dane and Chihuahua. The last is a collaboration with my friend (https://twitter.com/CypressWrites).
#Doggust batch 3. Tibetan Mastiff, West Highland Terrier, yakutia Laika and Borzoi.
#doggust batch 2. In this week: Kerry Blue Terrier, Maremma Sheepdog, Old English Sheepdog and Rhodesian Ridgeback.
A week of #Doggust2020 . I created a personalised list with a friend ( https://twitter.com/CypressWrites) and we are alternating days to keep each other motivated.
For my part, I’m trying to work on stylisation a little bit more. It’s something I’ve been avoiding for a long time due to a critique I received years ago that kind of stuck on me.
I love doing semi realistic studies, but I always feel like my process isn’t really creative, and even though i learn a lot from looking at pictures, the result isn’t very personal.
A couple of feline commissions.
Just a little reminder that I’m still open for these.
Commissions Are Open!
Due to an unplanned moving and me still being on furlough, I have decided to open some traditional pets portraits commissions.
They will be roughly 20x20 cm (7.8x7.8 inches) on Moleskine paper (ivory colour) for 25£. Due to the size of the paper I will only be able to fit one pet per sheet.
Please, DM me if interested or for any questions.
Sharing will be much appreciated!
Sleepy boy done using @wildlifedrawing stock photos (on IG)
Ghibliesque capybara designs done for fun. Gotta love those chilled potatoes!
Hungry seals are quite demanding.
Available as a sticker and on many other products from my Redbubble account: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/49892654?ref=studio-promote
Productive evening (and night) drawing cute horses and adorable donkeys during the @wildlifedrawing live last wednesday.
Miniature pigs drawn from Wild Life Drawing’s photo resources (https://linktr.ee/WildLifeDrawing). Longer studies at the top and quick 2-5 minutes ones to grasp the animal anatomy a little bit.
I don’t know why as a teenager I stumbled across few YT videos regarding famous American race horses and for a while I was into them. I don’t think I’ve ever had pro thoughts on the racing industry, but i”m now particularly against it. I’m still fascinated by the way these animals are worshipped like a celebrity, especially after death.
From left to right: Secretariat, Barbaro, Sea Biscuit and Shergar.
I’ve had quite a bad week and my friend spent a whole unfertoon trying to cheer me up and see past my self-doubt. As a “thank you” present, I drew her foster dog, Lucky, a little Podenco. I really hope she will be able to officially adopt him one day.
Some coyote studies and a fox drawn few years ago.
A little tribute to Luis Sepùlveda who reently passed away due to Covid-19. I grew up watching the animated feature based on his boom “Story of a Seagull and the Cat who Taught her to Fly”. and loved it so much. Few years ago I picked up the book and it’s just a little pearl of wisdom everyone should read at some point in their life
