How it feels to watch the finale at cinemas and form your own opinions about the finale and the series itself without engaging in any online discourse or having others tell you the way you're supposed to enjoy the story
These two took me by a storm. I relate to Jax in so many ways as a character, and (no spoilers) but tldr; it hurts knowing how things turn out. The idea of two people trying to connect but ultimately falling through because of circumstances, self inflicted or otherwise.

Ok, that's enough
So, while browsing Twitter looking for images of the human Jax, I noticed a small detail that I think everyone has been overlooking: the human version of Jax is emo, but... why?
At first, I also thought it was just a random choice, but then I realized why.
The emo subculture emerged in the 80s as a response to aggression, violence, and machism, and its purpose is to express emotions freely and honestly, prioritizing sensitivity and vulnerability in a safe space.
Interestingly, many people criticized and denigrated them precisely for this, especially the men, calling them sissies, sensitive little girls, and saying they weren't man enough.
While many interpret Jax as a closeted trans woman (which I'm not saying is wrong, as it's largely open to interpretation), in MY opinion, Jax is simply someone who was very insecure about his masculinity due to everything his father said to him. Once his father left, his mother reinforced this idea that he had to be the man of the house. However, we know that the real Jax doesn't fit that stereotype.
My point is that Jax isn't emo just because it looks good; rather, he's portrayed that way because it's how he's healing. It's how he shows those around him his true self: a person who expresses his feelings and is vulnerable, which completely contradicts the stereotype that men shouldn't express anything or show vulnerability—a stereotype his parents instilled in him from a young age. It's a way for him to be free from everything that tormented him for years while he learns to be a better person.
Anyway, as I said, that's my interpretation of Jax/Leeroy's past and why his being emo is so important and symbolic for better understanding his character and how he moved forward.
