thinking about louis and armand again. they lived 77 years together. my grandparents are celebrating 53 this year and they are practically telepathic. so coordinated, never separated. it makes me nauseous to think about. "drawing numbers on each other's backs and pretending to guess them wrong." yeah, because no matter how much pain and resentment there is between two people, spend enough time together and you'll grow attached regardless. small gestures come to mean so much. the pressure on a shoulder to calm the other down, finishing each other's sentences.
