Hehe, a story about Magicpunk is here. That make a while (ू•ᴗ•ू❁)
English version
French version
Tritanopia
Nuisance admired his drawing, a proud part of his mind quietly congratulating him. It depicted his whole family, all smiling – which was quite a rare sight with his dad – and happy to be there. He had the impression that Uncle Cross and his father didn’t get on very well, as they were always cold and distant towards one another. He almost felt that it wouldn’t bother them in the slightest if they could avoid speaking to one another.
But even with that feeling, he thought it was a good idea to draw them side by side, like friends happy to see each other again. After all, that feeling might not be right. And perhaps this drawing would help them stop looking at each other as if they hated one another and stop looking for excuses to be at odds with one another all the time. Despite this little artistic licence, he was proud of his drawing.
Aim’s drawing was just as lovely, and his huge smile made it abundantly clear that he felt the same way.
It was time to add some colour. There was something that always surprised him about the piles of coloured pencils: whether at his father’s house or his uncles’ – and even more so at their house – there were loads of coloured pencils. Yet they were all the same shape, the same thickness, and almost all seemed to be a similar size. It was just strange that they had so many spare pencils.
Especially when his father never kept anything superfluous. Unlike his uncles’ homes, his house seemed devoid of decoration, and if it weren’t for his bedroom full of plushies, you might have thought it was a house that had only just been put up for rent.
"Look, Papa," cried Aim, skipping over to the table. "I’ve drawn a picture of you all."
His father looked at him, a smile spreading across his face as he quietly praised his drawing.
"Nuisance’s drawing is lovely too."
Nuisance finished colouring, a subtle smile playing on his lips. He hesitated a little longer before getting up from the floor, leaving the pensils on the floor, and walking more calmly towards the table. He swallowed hard as he handed his drawing to Tonton Cross, a certain apprehension in his heart. His uncle looked at the drawing with an indescribable expression, a gleam in his eyes that he couldn’t quite tell whether it was pride or, on the contrary, disappointment.
"It's not good?"
His uncle finally looked at him, his gaze gentle yet questioning.
"It’s very nice. But why do Aim and Tonton Dream have the same colour eyes?"
"They have pink eyes," the child almost asked. "Well, Aim’s are darker, but it’s the same colour."
The look he received would surely have made Kills laugh if he’d been there. Yet there was nothing strange about what he’d said. Tonton Dream, in turn, looked at the innocent drawing that already seemed to be the source of this general confusion, before asking in his ever-gentle voice.
"What colour are your Papa’s eyes?"
"Papa? Grey."
He must have said something silly. How else could he explain the look his two uncles exchanged? Was it the colour of his dad’s eyes that was wrong? No matter how hard he tried to recall his dad’s face and the colour of his eyes, he was almost certain he was right. Even looking at Aim’s drawing, he couldn’t see any difference… So, where was the mistake?
"They’re not grey," Tonton Dream said gently.
"Oh… Sorry."
"Come here, little lad," Tonton Cross added calmly.
His uncle placed the drawing on the table before holding out his arms to him. It was always such a simple gesture from his uncle, as if he understood when he needed that little gesture.
The child quickly burrowed into his arms, before looking at the drawing again. The colours were all wrong! He took the piece of paper, crumpled it furiously into a ball and threw it away, then hid in the crook of his uncle’s shoulder. He could feel his uncles’ piercing stares and silently cursed himself for having done something silly yet again.
"Why did you throw your drawing away?" asked Tonton Cross.
"Because it’s bad," replied the little boy without lifting his head from his hiding place for a second. "It’s rubbish!"
"No," reassured Tonton Dream. "It’s fine just as it is. It shows us how you see the world."
"I see it badly!"
Aim moved closer to the crumpled ball of paper, carefully unwrinkling it before looking at the drawing again. He then moved back towards Dream and declared proudly:
"I’ve got pink eyes! That’s so cool!"
"Well…"
Nuisance looked at him with wide eyes. He’d expected him not to be pleased with it, to be sad or angry that he hadn’t chosen the right colour. Yet he was beaming with joy, and he could almost see stars dancing in his eyes. He could feel his uncle’s chest quiver with a soft chuckle and, even without looking at him, he knew a huge smile was spread across his face.
"I’ve got to see what I look like with eyes like that," continued Aim.
"That’s not how it works."
"Come on, let’s go and find a mirror."
The younger boy, too overexcited to really listen to what his father was saying, reached out his hand to his cousin, a smile taking up almost his entire face. His cousin hesitated for a few moments before coming downstairs and following him towards the stairs. To him, his cousin’s pupils were pink —not as pale as the pink of the cherry blossoms that Tonton Dream sported, but more like that of a hibiscus basking in the sunshine.
"We should tell Nightmare."
When he heard Tonton Dream, he felt a lump forming in his throat and had to bite the inside of his cheek to suppress the pained grimace that was trying to form on his face. His father simply had to know about this problem.
He didn’t want him to know at all. He didn’t want to see disappointment on his face, and he dreaded the moment when his father would decide to leave him behind because of this failure.

— Oh... Désolé.
— Viens là petit bonhomme, ajouta tranquillement Tonton Cross.
— Pourquoi avoir jeter ton dessin, demanda Tonton Cross.

Cross watched the rain fall, safely tucked away in Killer’s nest. Her fluffy wings were soaked, and if it hadn’t been for her lover’s nest, she would have already shaken them furiously to get rid of the water. Now they were just heavy and unpleasantly cold… Not something she could really appreciate.
Killer had gone out and she felt stupid for trying to follow her. It wasn’t as if Killer was defenceless, or unable to find her way back. But it had been raining for days with no sign of a break, days during which she’d been stuck, unable to do anything. So, when her lover had left, she hadn’t been able to bring herself to stay alone in the dry, simply waiting.
She’d tried to follow her, hoping not to be caught out and have to try to justify her suspicious behaviour – she’d have been too ashamed to give her an explanation – let alone without blushing so much she’d be visible from a mile away.
Fortunately, or unfortunately for her, her wings couldn’t keep up with the other fairy’s speed, and the water proved a real, stubborn foe, forcing her to turn back. Fuming, she’d eventually returned to the nest, spreading out her soaked cloak before removing her armour. Miraculously, some of her belongings had been nicked by the spring-summer hybrid, and, without too much trouble, she’d found a dry outfit. All that remained was to dry her wings, which were far too large to make the task easy... Yet another reason to be annoyed with herself.
After several minutes of struggle, she saw Killer quietly closing the door as if she were oblivious to the storm raging inside. She hadn’t even heard him come in, and she wondered if she didn’t resemble the grumpy cat that Killer liked to approach.
"Aww, her lover chuckled. You wanted to run away from my nest."
"Don’t start!"
Cross huffed, her teeth clenching as she flung away the towel which, in her eyes, was about as useful as her love for trolls. Later, she would surely think back on how she’d acted like a capricious faerling. Right now, she was just cold and couldn’t even manage to dry her oversized wings.
Killer approached quietly, picking up the cotton fabric before placing it gently against her wing. No jokes were made, nor even any comments or questions. Just an understanding, compassionate silence—something so gentle that, despite her irritation, her muscles relaxed as if she’d stepped into the warm waters of Error Mountain.
“Thank you, Killer.”
“You’re welcome.”

— Merci Killer.
— Pas de quoi.

Your art is really really good (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)
I can't wait to see the next ( ꈍ꒳ꈍ)
Dream in this universe is so sad, I want to hug him really hard ᐠ( ᐢ ᵕ ᐢ )ᐟ
«YOU MURDERERS!
You were in in the majority
You knew you had the power to stop them
And yet you did NOTHING.
And you just stood there and watched as they pleaded for your help
Why?
Because it’s too much effort for too little reward?
These two saw you as their Friends!
Their Family!
They always welcomed you into their heart and supported you, but forbid they demand saviour for once
Because their just two speckles of sand in a desert, right?
“And what difference do two less stars in the Night sky make”
That was your excuse, wasn’t it?
. . .
Didn’t their life hold any meaning?
Were all these memories they held just for nothing?
Because as soon as an individual doesn’t meet your expectations they’re suddenly worth less?
Just because they also wanted to experience their own life for once, and not only live for the sake of others?
Because they didn’t serve your needs anymore?
That suddenly made them from someone to no one?
Something to just discard when they start making their own choices?
I’m ashamed to even share the same body as you do
The nerve to even market yourself as “saviors”,
when clearly savior seems to come with a payment now
You say you fight against the evils of this world,
yet you are no better than the one you claim your enemy
But what does it matter to know now, when they’re already gone
They’re gone and I’ll never get them back
You didn’t even leave me the memory of their voice..
My life is gonna miss a piece of myself forever and you don’t care
Because I’m just another speckle of sand in your eyes
A star too little to be worthy of being noticed . . . »
