Statement
Monday, June 16, 2014
While I am clearly disappointed with the outcome of today’s hearing held in the Eastern District Court of New York and the sentence imposed by Honorable Judge A. R. Ross, I respect her decision and have only one purpose in mind: to serve my sentence and eventually move on with the rest of my life. As I have expressed in court today and throughout the process, I regret the errors in judgement that I have made in the past and the pain that I have caused. I have spent the better part of the last four years paying for my mistakes, but clearly the Judge felt that further disciplinary action was warranted. I would like to thank my wife Alla, my Father David, and my Mother Inna, as well as my amazing friends for the unwavering love and support that they have always provided. I owe a debt of particular gratitude to my attorney, Mr. Marc Agnifilo, for being the most honorable, caring and dedicated legal representative and human being that a client could ever hope to have at his defense.
