funniest thing for them to do would be if they make the Mileven spin-off where Mike figures it all out - he knows El is alive and he manages to track her down so he leaves everything behind to go be with her.

But now that he's no longer consumed by grief, he realises that he really doesn't want to be with her like that, and he truly misses Will more than he thought possible. Like he grieved El, but he can't live without Will, even knowing he's alive somewhere.

the concept of will having a rivalry with derek is so funny. how is he supposed to make out with his boyfriend sloppy style when some 11 year old is demanding mike play dnd with him because he thinks he’s the coolest person alive, his best friend (he is not that is Will and Will’s spot only). unstoppable force (annoying preteen) meets unmovable object (possessive boyfriend). no wonder he tackled him to the ground.
