Sigh.  Okay.  Hi, I’m a long term shipper of Hannigram and Sauron/Celebrimbor with two degrees that basically amount to art analysis and the institutional teaching of historical and context and analysis.  I was hoping I could just get away with not writing a long post about this but now that I’ve seen the excessive amount of hate in the Percival Graves/Credence Barebone tags…sigh.  okay.  Let’s talk about shipping abusive relationships in fiction, and how shipping abusive relationships is not necessarily glorifying or normalizing abuse.

I just love how Class is so real.

You can relate to all of them in some way; even Quill. You’ve got the guy who thinks he is too cool for school but secretly loves hanging out with the ‘dorks’. The innocent one who giggles about sex but is so fucking smart it’s scary. The chick with so much shit going on in her life, but still manages to find time to care more about other people rather than herself. The one who isn’t quite part of the 'group’ but he’s still gives his all to help them and is just as important as the rest of them. Then you have the real outsider. The one who doesn’t feel like they fit in at all; feeling like a constant bother to the rest. Scared to show any sort of truth to who they are incase no-one likes it.

Like…shit.

Then you have Quill who is angst and anger and war itself but you can relate to how passionate she is. She is wife, y'know?
