Welcome to Eileanaich, a place for you to watch progress, contribute to and interact with your new Lews Castle Museum and Archive in Stornoway, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The museum and galleries will explore the landcapes, the people, the traditions and culture from Barra to Ness, uncovering what makes life in the Outer Hebrides distinct. Islanders home and away are invited to use this space to collaborate with us to bring the galleries to life. We want to capture a true picture that includes all of us who live, work and breathe island life.
