Dash placed the basket on the trunk of the car so when she sat on the car she wouldn’t see it and know what he planned. He drove through the busy streets of the city clutching the steering wheel has hard as he could trying to conceal his agitation. He was so scared about what he had planned for them today. What if she doesn’t like it ? He repeated that question in his head throughout all day, he even dared to ask his friends if she was going to enjoy it and the only response he got was a smack on the head from Mel telling him to stop being a stupid head. He stopped the car in front of her house, rang her doorbell and waited leaned against the car doubting his plans. When he caught a glimpse of her he could feel the knot in his stomach becoming tighter and tighter. He opened the door for her and when she was already inside he went back to his seat and drove away.

He waited for her to close her eyes before driving away. He nodded at the man responsible for the hot air balloon from inside the car, no going back now. He regretted a bit not having thought of a plan B but now was too late. He watched carefully her reaction her her surprise, biting his lower lip in fear that she might dislike it. She caught him off guard when she kissed him and he happily returned the kiss. He got out of the car but when he was making his way to open her door she was already outside. He grabbed her by the waist making sure she was as close to him as she could be. He didn’t understood a word she said, he simply smiled and asked “Do you like it, princess ?”. He planted a soft kiss on her lips before going back to the car to get the basket he hid on the trunk. He grabbed her hand and led her towards the balloon, only letting go of her hand for a few second to greet the man who so kindly provided the balloon for them in such short notice.

The princess was a mess. Just beside herself with excitement at everything. Dash's arms wrapped around her waist and she kissed him again. Her lips on his, hands up in his hair. "I love it. I've never been on one before." He had to pull himself away to grab a basket from the car. She just wanted to grab him and not let go at all. But she kept herself in check as he walked over to the man next to the balloon. Eilonwy pulled out her phone to text Mel, knowing she more than likely had a hand in Dash's plan. The message of gratitude was sent quickly, and she bounced from one foot to another. The excitement just bubbling up and over as he spoke to the man. In her time in the states she had done so many new things. Of course new and exciting moments were abound in her first relationship. Thoughts of any of her previous romances had completely left her mind.

Of course, she had to wonder what her father would say if he knew what she was up to. Of course, she was under supervision by her father's adviser, but he held the same philosophy, wanting her to lead a normal life. Callahan at least helped cover for her when she spent days with Dash.  Told her father she was pursuing her studies. Or even out riding. But he never mentioned Eilonwy's beloved boyfriend. Beloved commoner boyfriend. Which would no doubt get awkward at some point. But until that bridge needed to be crossed, Eilonwy never let the thoughts ruin her time with him. She'd never mentioned her anxieties to him either. Saying their relationship was perfectly fine. Eilonwy walked over to stand at Dash's side, her fingers lacing between his. "So, mo ridire, what else have you planned for us?"

After a talk with the always so helpful Bianca he finally had an idea for Valentine’s Day. After his morning classes at college he called to check if everything he planned was ready to go, even though his Valentine’s Day plans would only start late in the afternoon. When he was done with classes from the day he found Melody blasting Pop music in the kitchen and dancing totally out of sync to it. Being the good guy Dash is he decided to give a hand and help the small girl with the baking. He waited for the girl to head out the door for her own Valentine’s Day plan and that was his queue to get ready. Dash looked at the time, his stomach was in a knot anxious to know if the girl would like what he had planned for the two.

He pulled up to her house and waited in the car for her. When she arrived he started driving to the destination trying his best to conceal his shaky hands while driving. He stopped at the curve “Close your eyes. And don’t peak.” he asked her trying his best to surprise her. He drove closer to it and finally parked his car. “You can open now” he sat back on his seat watching her reaction. “What do you think ? Do you like it?” He needed to be reassured that his idea was good and that she liked it no matter how many times his friends told him that, he needed to hear it from her.

To say she was beyond excited for her first Valentine's day with Dash, was a gross understatement. She was nervous. Panicking. But ecstatic. Her hands shook. No outfit seemed good enough. Her hair was too frizzy. He could be early, then she would be really unprepared. Finally, she settled on her look and checked her phone. He was going to be here any second. She checked her hair for the millionth time in the mirror when she saw his car pull up. It was time. She practically sprinted to his car, he hardly had enough time to open the door for her. On their way, she gently held his hand. The excitement evident on her face. 

He stopped the car. She had no idea where they were. What would even be around here? Nodding at his request, she closed her eyes and put her hands over her face. Now the grin was plastered to her face. Anticipation causing her to practically quiver. After a short drive, the car was stopped and he gave her permission to open her eyes. No words were said. There were no words to describe her reaction. All she did was unbuckle her belt and pounce at him. Her lips colliding with his. The kiss awkward and strange because of her position and the smile on her lips. Without a word, she pulled away and leaped out of the car. "O mo ghrá, mo ridire, tá sé iontach." His gift making her completely forget to speak English around him. Her heart fluttered and skipped as she stared up at the hot air balloon.

[chuckles] Isn’t there some crazy rumor about lycanthropy in the royal bloodlines in England? Why can’t vampirism be in yours? I think it’s perfectly plausible that each royal family has their own problem. Just be glad you didn’t get saddled with the cannibalism.

Well, I can assure you, neither Harry nor William have shown any sign of lycanthropy, but I do only see them on new moons it seems. I may have to ask Kate what she's seen. Actually, Prydainian warriors used to feast on the flesh of their downed enemies to absorb their strength. But I promise it is a custom long since abandoned.

I can see that. Is it ? Well, now I have a lot of pressure to make sure you’re not disappointed.
