Monthly favorites post is back! I missed the months of March and April cause I couldn’t find time to blog about it because of school. But anyway, I hope I won’t miss again! So now, here are my picks for the previous month that has been actually kinda good to me!
Yoga pants. Bought it at SM dept store for like, 350 pesos, I think? I bought one cause I needed gym clothes to have a little motivation to workout. This is actually nice and pretty cheap. Plus, I like the pink colour at the waist part. I chose this ¾ rather than the longer one cause my legs are long and thin, I don’t think it’s nice to look good at. Hahahaha!
Sunglasses from Sunnies Studios. This is a summer must have! Lol joke we got no summer cause classes ended last May 22. But anyways, I used this sophisticated looking pair of sunglasses when we went to Palawan. It was over-used by me, of course. I felt like I looked like a Barbie doll with that and my blonde hair. The cat-eye shape of the sunglasses suits with my round face. Also, I used this during the opening of our college week! Got it for 399 pesos and I love the new design of the pouch!
Almonds. My brother brought this home together with bags of pistachios. I looooooove pistachios so much, I ignored the almonds. I never thought that almonds have health benefits that I needed for my diet. So, I started eating those since we ran out of pistachios.
Iconic Socks from SM dept store! I’m a foot socks kinda person cause I wear doll shoes most of the time, but of course I needed socks too, and this printed pair of socks caught my eye. I wear it when I wear my booties!!! I think it’s kind of expensive though? 149 pesos for a pair socks? Or I just really don’t know how much a pair of socks should cost. Don’t judge me.
Candy Magazine June 2015 issue. It’s been so so so so long since I bought a copy of Candy Magazine. I don’t know why I stopped reading and collecting. Huhuhu. Anyways, I just grabbed this at the supermarket when we went grocery shopping one time. It was honestly out of nowhere, I decided to take one. I was just really looking around, like I usually do at the supermarket and sometimes I even goof around. (Hahahahaha!!) I missed reading Candy mag!
Small jar. This was such a cute find at the department store!!!! It’s only 50 pesos and I regret nothing. Although, when I got home, I didn’t know what to put and decided to keep it first since I plan on redecorating my room. After I did, I put it in my side table with chocolates inside. :)
Black jumpshorts. I’m not really sure what’s it called but it a one-piece from Forever 21. I always find nice dresses and jumpsuits there!!! I wore this at the cthm year ender party, Equinox. My mother’s teasing me about this and telling me that it looks like a “pantulog”. Oh my god pls. It does but it looks classy okay because of the lace and material!!!

It's my first time to go to Anawangin Cove in San Antonio, Zambales. It was actually a company outing of my mother but she kinda dragged me and my brother into this trip. No regrets at first cause yea, I'm g for anything, I'm g for any kind of adventure and besides it's not my first time to go camping. I've been to camping so many times before during my high school in Scouting Club (I miss everyone back there!!!) so camping today isn’t new to me. After the 5 hours drive from Manila, we reached the port then another 40 mins boat ride to reach Anawangin Cove itself. The night before this trip, we knew there’s no phone signal and internet in Anawangin. I repeat, there’s no phone signal and internet in Anawangin. My whole world kind of just melted. I hated that part, but of course I’m also good at bumming around and sleeping so yea, I wasn’t really bothered that much by that fact.
Kuyang bangkero was impressed at me when I helped him set the tent. (Again, girl scout here. HAHAHAHAHAHA yabang). So in the afternoon, I just slept and then around 4pm, we decided to swim already since the sun is about to hide and not that harsh anymore. The water’s super salty, it’s annoying but whatever. The sand’s fine too but not white, it’s kind of grayish. After swimming, we showered then just our bad luck, it rained so hard. Huhuhuhu. Super hassle. I hate it that night. The locals said it was just that night that it rained.
The next day, we were supposed to go trekking to that mountain but my mom’s staff refused to pay. Lol. We ended up going to Capones Island that day when we’re also supposed to go to the lighthouse but the waves won’t allow us. We just did picture taking under the scorching hot sun at Capones Island after the 40 min boat ride from Anawangin. Talaga ba. Well at least after that, everything kind of went smoothly, of course cause we’re on our way back to Manila. We stopped over at Subic Port and yay for new kicks and shirt from Nike Factory Store!!!!!! Finally have running shoes for gym.
All in all, I’m rating this Anawangin Cove trip of 5/10. I just hated the rain that night. Hassle. And the camping experience wasn’t new to me, so it’s fine.
My brother, momma and I flew to Palawan last May 24, 2015 and we stayed there for 4 days. From Puerto Princesa, we have to travel 6 freaking hours to El Nido. I felt like we traveled to Baguio because of the zigzag road but I actually just slept the entire trip so I was not really bothered by it.
We booked an accommodation in an inn that is just by the sea shore. I don’t mind having a beautiful view everyday of my life. The sand at the shore was super fine! There were many resto bars at the shore too but they’re not loud and annoying. Basically, it’s super chill in El Nido. When it was time for us to go eat dinner, we roamed around the town proper and ended up eating at Art Cafe. They have pretty good food and chill ambiance.
For our second day, we choose Tour A. We went to small and big lagoon, secret lagoon and 7 commando island. We were not able to go kayaking at small lagoon cause we forgot to bring money huhu because duh??!? Why bring money if you'll be in the middle of the ocean and going island hopping. Hahahahahaha.
^ at Small Lagoon! I don’t know exactly why we were looking the other way. Lol cute shot though. I hated my life vest. It was such a struggle to wear but I don’t know how to swim so yea, I really have no choice, right. Hahahaha. I got tired here cause we did so much swimming. Ugh.
We had lunch in an island, but i don’t know its name. The food was all inihaw and I stuffed myself with fruitsssssssss. Life’s good, bruh.
For our last destination that day, it was at 7 commando island. I enjoyed the beach cause of the fine white sand. It was so chill. I wanted to stay there for a little more but of course we can’t.
We went back to the port before 5pm as far as I can remember. It was so tiring but we still have another island hopping the next day. It was Tour C for our third day at El Nido. We went to hidden beach, matinloc shrine, secret beach and helicopter island.
^ View at the top of Matinloc Shrine! Our tour guide told us that the island shapes like a heart from aerial view and Matinloc means maganda. FYI, it was so hard to climb up just to see the view but oh well it was worth it.
That third day, we’re just 8 on the boat, 1 French girl and 4 Iranians, I think, then the 3 of us. During lunch, I munched on fruits again, ahhhhhhh love it. When we were on our way to Helicopter Island, which is our last stop, it rained. It was so cold at the boat huhu. It’s called Helicopter Island cause it’s shaped like a helicopter from afar. We just swam there despite the rain. Lol. As usual we were back at the port by 5pm. We ate dinner and chilled by the sea shore. My body was literally hot and sore that night :-(
So glad we found a breakfast buffet at El Nido! I love breakfast foods and buffets. So we ate at Ipil Suites for two mornings. Life’s good. Then we packed our stuff cause we have to be at Puerto Princesa before 7pm. Another long ass ride but this time, I got so dizzy, I had a hard time sleeping huhu plus, our flight got delayed for 4 fucking hours. I hate Cebu Pac so much, yea they have cheap fares but flights are always delayed.
I guess that’s it for our Palawan trip! We were supposed to stay longer and have a side trip at Puerto Prinsesa and Underground River but I got lazy organizing our trip before soooo, yes regrets. Soon, I want to tour Puerto Prinsesa!!! Now where to go next? Bohol’s on my mind for now, but Idk yet! Cant wait for my next travel and adventure!!! :-)
Reading PS I still love you by Jenny Han! Bought a hard copy since I don't want to read on my phone and besides I barely invest on books so why not invest on a book that I really wanna read and have to read. Lol. Loved the first book, I hope I'll be able to finish this second installment by this week or next week!

Wore this outfit for the last day of our college week. We were told to wear blue or green because that's the color of our college. I had unexpected matchy matchy with some of my friends though. Lol.
Students Tourism Society presents Runway 2015. It was held last May 5, 2015, 6pm at UST Plaza Mayor. Me and my co-models showcased the designs of Edwin Uy, Gerry Katigbak, Arnold Galang and Renee Salud.
After Saplot 2014, another opportunity was given to me by STS. I was overwhelmed when they told me that I will be modelling in the upcoming fashion show together with the candidates from this school year's Saplot, CTHM ambassadress and BA day. Plus, that night was my first ever event in Plaza Mayor, so I was really looking forward!!
I was chosen to wear Gerry Katigbak and Renee Salud. Fortunately, I loved them both! Gerry Katigbak's theme was flowy dresses and Renee Salud's theme was beaded gowns. The black dress that I wore was so perfect, I wanted to take it home. I felt like that gown was made for me because when we had our fitting at Renee Salud's shop, that was the first one that I got to fit and I didn't need any alterations and I super loved it. Plus, when I wore it again during practice, my heels was on point with the gown. Miss Nella approved and liked it :)

This event actually made me realize that I'm not fit for pageants. I mean, yes, I've done 2 pageants before and it went okay. I thought pageant was my thing, but no, I think the runway is my world. Modelling is my thing and was my thing but I didn't pursue it. Lol at me and my life.
