Roy grumbled as he settled in his seat, the bright light of the early morning casing him to wince even behind dark sunglasses. He wasn’t particularly keen on the idea of having a ‘social media specialist’ fix up his image, not that he really had much of a choice. His manager and his label had both agreed that his publicist just wasn’t cutting it anymore, after all, it didn’t matter how many interviews you did with Rolling Stone if all people could focus on was your so called ‘alcoholic tendencies’, whatever that meant.
But, more than that he wasn’t exactly happy that a twenty-two year old was supposed to be handling his social media. Everything from tweeting for him to posting pictures of him on his instagram account was now completely under her control and with that came her request for these weekly breakfasts.
“Why, exactly, did you drag me out of bed so early? Can’t you just, I don’t know, post that I’m enjoying church or something?”
noli liked to facetime or skype ( if they were far away ) or have face to face meetings with whoever’s social media she was currently handling. when she was put in charge of all of roys accounts she made the singer promise that they would have a weekly meeting, that just so happened to also be breakfast.
“first of all. when was the last time you were up this early, mm?” she questioned, sticking her fork in a strawberry and then eating it. “secondly, church isn’t exactly your brand now is it?” noli took a sip of her coffee and then quickly turned her attention to her phone, answering a message quickly before giving roy all of her attention. noli liked a challenge. roy was different from the social media account that she ran for the local news paper, and the new up and coming boy band she had at the moment. he had been established, and now..... it was falling apart and it was in noli’s hands to try to fix it and damn it, she was going to do that.
