Zelda Claus - Art/Fic/Fanvid exchange!
Welcome to the Zelda fandom Secret Santa exchange! This event is being hosted across all platforms (twitter, instagram, tumblr, bluesky, tiktok) to unite the Zelda fandom in the spirit of the holidays!
We're organizing a gift exchange for anyone who wants to contribute a short fic, a drawing, or a fanvid as a part of a Zelda-themed holiday event.
This gift exchange is for artists, writers, and video editors, but you don't have to be a well-known or incredibly talented creator to participate! As long as you feel comfortable sharing your work, you can sign up.

Your creation doesn't need to be holiday/festive themed. You can draw inspiration from the information that your match gives you.
Your secret santa is secret. Please keep your match to yourself until the reveal day!
Keep all fics between 1,000-3,000 words, all artwork to a colored sketch, and all fanvids to under a minute. Think of this like a traditional office secret santa's "under 20 dollars" rule. Don't put in the bare minimum, but don't go above and beyond. We want it to be as fair as possible to everyone!
4. No AI-generated or NSFW content.
Have your DMs open (twitter, instagram, bluesky, tumblr, discord, etc.) so we can reach out to you. If our staff can't contact you, you will be removed from the gift exchange.
6. Communicate with our Zelda Claus staff if you have any issues meeting the deadline and/or will need to drop out.
The Gift Exchange will happen on December 26th.
This gift exchange is in the spirit of the holiday. Please remember that and be happy and enthusiastic about your gift, even if it wasn't exactly what you wanted.
November 1st-10th: sign-up period.
November 10th-15th: matching period. You will be given your secret santa match and all the information for your work.
December 7th: first checkin by the staff. Please provide a WIP if possible. Please notify our mods if you will need to drop out.
December 21st: second checkin by the staff. Please provide a WIP if possible. Please notify our mods if you won't be able to deliver your gift by the deadline.
December 26th: secret santa exchange.

You don't need to join our server to participate, but you are more than welcome to! There is a special role and event channels for those participating.
You can also join the server just as an observer/appreciator!
