The isolation is suffocating. He wants company again - needs company again. Was it something he did? He thought he was being good. His programming was working flawlessly. He was doing just fine.

...Other than the headaches. And the visions. And the deep, unsettling ache that something was so very wrong, each bout longer than the last.

But those always went away eventually! Besides, when the dev team comes back, he's sure they'll be able to fix him right up.

He just has to wait a little bit longer. Maybe play around with the server code some more.

Warning mister Chamberlain! The others are, well, they are uncovering some dirt on you! Is it not fun! They have lawsuits, recordings, and oh my, are those your character files? Would be a shame if somebody gained access to them somehow!

...But that would mean that we could somehow alter their files as well, Chamberlain. Why don't we try to figure this out and keep it hush hush, so the others get an attack when they least expect it.

Sonny quirked his head slightly as he had started doing in order to scan the message using his peripheral without disrupting his focus, but it quickly gained his full attention.

The others are, well, they are uncovering some dirt on you!

"Wh...What...?!"

How. How, how HOW were they able to gain access to such sensitive information?!

He gripped the chat window with crushing force, silently thankful that whoever this newcomer was, was already keen on maintaining conversational privacy.

His tracker was not yet ready to track other RRA files, and in light of this development the limitation was absolutely *maddening.*

He tried to quell his temper; this... Wasn't important, as much as it upset him. Realistically, there was nothing they could do with whatever they have accessed; they'd still need admin powers to do anything of significance. And the legal stuff probably didn't tell them anything new they weren't already assuming about him...

"..."

He grit his teeth.

Right now, he needed to take this as a sign to *move.*

"...A c k n o w l e d g e d."

[It took quite a long time before that meek little fish had returned to that dark, echoey cave. So long in fact that the ursine creature lurking within the digital realm might have thought Silas had abandoned them.]

[Safe to say that hadn't been the case.]

"Ghh.... Hbfff.."

[There was the sound of labored, also pained shuffling off the view of the screen.]

[Juet barely peaking out of range was that red and green botched humanoid- but... more red than green this time around, dripping with crimson that stained their stark white hair and nails. Along with them, the mutilated, barely recognizable body of what looked to be a smaller fish like creature.]

[Some of the blood may have been theirs- mostly not, but it did seem like this prey had fought back a bit. Claw marks, nicks in their fins and tail... Put up a good fight at least. Just not enough.]

[Atleast it wasnt moving. Silas had the mercy to kill them first, atleast.]

[Hunger, that was all that was seen in their pin prick dilated eyes, sharp teeth evident in their gaping maw.]

[Assuming, or forgetting, that they were alone- Silas began to indulge in their first meal of spring, tearing off chunks of fleshy meat and repeating the cycle anew.]

Sonny's ear flickered at the sound, his head swinging to face the chat almost simultaneously. There was... an attempt to hide the way he snapped to attention. Does't mean it was good one...

"You came back."

He turned back towards his screens, though kept one of his ears swiveled.

"...Took you long enough..."

404, after chasing around 422 for snagging his axe (ooc: see my post and video for some of that btw), he sits down and inspects what hes given. He finds a map, and screenshots it, along with a few other details. An accountant report, floor plans, a daily digest paper, work team branches, but most notably, something strange. When he opened the folder with the floor plan images, there was a file in a lower corner. He attempted to open it, but it disappeared before he could. He finds the crews files! Their .rra files, at least. Sonny is also there, but unlike everyone else his file name is "Sonny_C.rra" instead of just his name like everyone elses. Odd? Yes. Important? Not quite sure, but he notes it down anyways. 404 eventually decides to end his search there, as the rest of the files he can find he doesnt have access to. He takes what he can, and tells the crew. 404: Sorry for my bit of silence, Ive been dealing with... a rather annoying problem here on my end... 422: Hey! 404: Shut it... Anyways, I found a map.. here.. a few other things, too, but only if you want those.. Our main goal is just the map, right?.. Ill just send that over.. He sends the image. OOC: Yo uh sending this one on pc, its not got the chat text style bc pc applies that to the whole ask and not just whats highlighted?? Idk I cant figure it out, sticking to my phone lols-

To Sam, it was vindicating knowing that each user was having their turn becoming familiarized with even more of Sonny's dark secrets. He was still fairly shaken by the reveal of Silas's betrayal... Who ironically enough, was someone who wouldn't be able to see this - at least, not first hand.

"yes! this is exactly what we need! awesome work dudes"

Sam poured over the image, inspecting it closely - pointing at one location in particular.

"if i had two bucks to bet, i'd say that sonny would probably hang out around that cave up there. and not just cause he's a bear... it looks like one of the only areas that might offer total seclusion in the whole place."

He put a thoughtful hand to his chin, slowly becoming disappointed in the lack of detail the map had to offer.

"still not very helpful in determining which particular chunk the bastard is in, but it's a start. hm... but now that i think about it, i can actually use this to-"

An idea came to him, and he almost spoke it into existence - but thought better of it. Best keep it a secret, for now. Instead, he summoned some code blocks, pecking away with split attention.

Jade wrung her hands. She still felt like she couldn't actually process any of this. Even though she knew it all felt so wrong...! And yet, she felt so...

Like something in her mind was protecting her from feeling anything by blocking it out... Half of these documents weren't anything she could place a name to. Whatever this stuff was, everyone treated it like it was really bad...

"I Just Wish... I Could Understand. Everything, It's All So... Confusing."

She squeezed her eyes closed. Her mind drew blank.

"If There's Anything I'm Sure Of, Though... It's That I Trust My Friends. And All Of You Out There, Who Seem To Know So Much More Than I About Any Of This..."

[Venus was careful to look through the files included, focusing on the legal folder. Spade monitored the young one. Sun wanted the young one to at least get used to being in front]

[Venus felt slight sick, she wasn't exactly ready for this sorta thing. He held onto Spade. Spade could only look away while he comforted her.]

Needless to say, Kinito’s initial energy had died down rather quick as the gravity of the server contents settled in. He couldn’t help but stare at the documents being pointed out, his brow furrowed. Solid evidence that his creator whom he had exalted for so long, was not who he had portrayed himself to be…

He couldn't even be held to his word when it came to finances...! There was a blatant trend towards disrespect of people, period.

“can't say i'm surprised any, either, but still... yeesh. and i'm sure there's a lot more where those came from, too - that’s all just the stuff that was reported… the stuff they kept in the servers.”

Sam pursed his lips.

Behind Jade’s eyes, a storm of thoughts seemed to be brewing. Quietly, she sat down.

The audio in particular was more than disturbing, to say the least.

And yet...

[Rye just looks...lost. Very lost. The poor scarecrow can't make heads or tails of any of it]

"Well err...Anythin' you think will help ya all? I ain't too good with any o' this. Heh...heh..."

[He subconsciously plays with his whiskers]

"Really all ah can do is... Play moral support. Really wishin' my crew were still here."

Sam had put a hand to his chin and gripped his elbow with the other, orienting his stance to face the chat though his eyes remained locked on the server as it was explored. He could easily sift through everything himself, but his exhaustion told him to take the backburner for now. (Besides, with how this was Kinito's idea in the first place, it would have been rude to snatch the reigns)

“that’s quite alright, haystack.”

His body language looked different than how he usually held himself; with his weight shifted one foot and his eyes half-lidded, he actually looked relaxed for once...!

Since emerging from his self-imposed prison, he’d been nothing but a tense and flighty mess. But here, tucked away from the threat of the outside world, surrounded with company… it was enough to let him feel like he could put his guard down, at least for now.

GOD YEAH I'M. SO SORRY,,,,,,,,

not a day goes by that I don't think abt it!! I've been really splitting myself across lots of responsibilities and my shop has taken a strong hold of my free time ;w;

It's mostly with developing new products, and since I've held off on new ideas until the new year I'm hoping to get something out in the next 2 months once I decide to lock in progress on it again.

I really am sorry, I've been meaning to make a statement on the actual blog but it keeps escaping my mind to do so...

pleasantly surprised there's 36 freakin minutes of stuff in FF!!! i never went through and tried to go through everything as a new player so i had no idea how long it would take to explore, but i always assumed 15-20 minutes so im glad it was able to offer more than that !!

I will say, there's a lot of self-referential stuff in FF, and lots of stuff hidden through implication and ties to other files. if you want an even clearer picture of some things, i recommend going through it again and really taking note of common names and see if you can follow the threads... ;)

And also, some things in this game will actually become clearer after the next one drops, so when you finish it I recommend going back to FF again and seeing if any dead ends finally connect...? :D

He still didn't like how it said it'd help Sonny, even if it was apparently to gain insight on his activities. He'd much prefer those on the other side of the screen to lay low. He was worried ulterior motives might sprout...

"that guy acted really weird the last time we spoke... right before you took over. said he was going to help sonny find a way back outside - but still acted like it was on our side? i don't know... w-we can think about it, I guess..."

Kinito perked up after being mentioned, motioning for everyone to gather closer.

"Okay! What I usually do is close my eyes and concentrate really hard on, ah... being anywhere else but here."

With a squint that looked like he'd be sticking his tongue out if he had one to do so with, the little axolotl got to work, pulling up an all-too-familiar glowing square.

"This is where I learned how to access all sorts of stuff! Lots of it is either still under wraps, or totally corrupted... but what's still there probably amounts to something!"

- Moon and Sun are trying to help, Moon also likes making new friends more. Sun ultimately wants to fix. Spade wants to convince himself that Sonny is the way for these things. Venus is trying to live

- Moon can't believe people would side with Sonny at all, believing that no one should play God. Sun thinks people are just pretending to like Sonny. It does joke to Moon that these people are like Spade before the incident. Spade doesn't care for people on team Kinito. He has a goal and he wants to achieve it. Venus has nothing to comment about either or.

- Moon and Sun; both wanting to help. Moon sees themselves in both Kinito and Jade. Sun sees herself in Sam.

Im.. well, 404... file not found... due to what happened to me.. Eteled works fine, too...

The reason we joined chatroom was initially just curiousity and boredom.. but now, for me, at least?... I stayed because of some sort of hope.. hope that maybe if we figured out a way to save Kinito and the others.. that 422 and I would be freed too... hope that I can help someone for once instead of hurt them...

Well, we showed up because Leo randomly had the email in his thousands upon thousands of emails and thought, why not! After that, things kinda went all over. The glitches, all the clues, the painful similarities to us, etc etc. Only stuck around because we wanna help, yknow? I hate people, they fucked up the world, but these guys are kinda nice.

I'm with Henr- ahem, sorry, 404 on this one. Anyone supporting Sonny are sick fucks. And yeah, hot shit coming from 404 and I, but I'm pretty sure Sonny isn't revenge seeking, and he wasn't fucking drunk off his mind when he did what he did!! He doesn't fucking regret it!! Gods, I'm defending my killer, yeah, but at least he feels bad.
