@elegant-earthquake
You are really just downright annoying. You are so disrespectful to me all the time. You put me down all the time. Because of this, the very sound of your voice just disgusts me most of the time. Youâre so pretentious. You act like youâre such a great person and that youâre so much smarter and just generally better than everyone, but you arenât. You are such a hypocrite in so many ways. You refuse to believe I am telling the truth when youâre the one who lies all the time. You accuse me of hiding things from you when youâre the one who keeps things from me. I really donât even like to be around you anymore most of the time. You do almost nothing to help out on what should be shared responsibilities. You say you will do things and you never do them. You always look at me like I am the dumbest person on the planet. You say I am a narcissist, but you are the most egotistical, self-loving, selfish person Iâve ever met in my entire life. But you used to not be these things.
You used to be so sweet and caring to me. You would never call me stupid or retarded or a bitch or a cunt. You would never threaten to hurt me. You would never destroy my things. You used to put me before you. You used to care about my feelings. You used to help me take care of us. You used to spend all of your time with me, and that was a priority for you. You never wanted to be away from me. And I didnât want to be away from you. We used to talk and smile and laugh for hours about all kinds of things without ever turning on the tv. You used to look at me like you loved me. You used to treat me like you loved me. You used to talk to me like you loved me. You used to act like you loved me.
You used to laugh with me. Now you laugh at me. You used to say you hated to see me cry. Now you try to make me cry.
That shit changed you. It changed everything about you. I know you donât believe me because you donât want to quit. I hate it, and I hate who itâs turned you into. You are not at all the person you used to be. And I keep waiting and hoping that person is still there. But I really donât think he is.
âIâm ninety-six years old. Â Iâd rather just take a pill and get it over with. Â Whenever I tell that to my wife, she pretends to slap me in the face. Â But Iâm ready to go. Â And Iâd like it to be sudden. Â Iâve had a good run. Â I was lucky enough to share my life with someone. Â Sheâs ninety now. Â Weâve had a lot of time together. Â We have seven grandchildren. Â Eight great-grandchildren. Â But there are just so many things I canât do anymore. Â I have the money. Â I have the time. Â Just not the ability. Â Whenever I walk, everything hurts. I enjoy sitting here in the park. Â I think about all the friends that Iâve lost. Â People come talk to me. Â Time passes by. Â But Iâm ready. Â Iâm not scared of it. Â Iâd like my soul to go to wherever the souls go.â (Barcelona, Spain)
God I hate you. I love you too. But I really, really hate you.

Please reblog, this is so important.
I needed this
Is this foreal?
Yes itâs a real service. I do volunteer work for a rape crisis support service in my city and texting is one of the features we provide as well. But just to boost its credibility, I tried it myself:
reblog to save lives!
You can also text âSteveâ to 741741 if youâre a young person of color. The website for more info is stevefund.org
My understanding is that itâs more multicultural and some folks feel more comfy with that in mind!
^^^^^THIS
get help guys, please. if youâre hurting, donât let that hurt consume you. seek help.
I never knew this. Itâs spectacular.
THIS is what I was looking for a few weeks ago when I was in crisis; reblog to save a life!
U.S. PSA: ACA (Obamacare) enrollment begins Nov. 1!
Hey all, you should know:
The 2019 ACA (Obamacare) enrollment period is November 1-December 15, 2018.
This period is 45 days instead of the 90 days under Obama, and will not be advertised as aggressively eitherâso be sure to share this around and get the word out!
And remember, if you lose your health insurance, get married, get divorced, have a baby, etc. etc.âbasically, if you have big life changes that cause you to lose or fail to review your insurance coverageâyou may be able to apply outside of the usual enrollment period. You can check if you qualify for a special enrollment period here.
Mark your calendar and click here to learn more at HealthCare.gov!
Love and solidarity,
Spoonie Living
Reminder! This period is almost over.
them: whats signs do you have that capitalism is killing people? what signs do you have that itâs worsening their lives?
me:
article donât even mention the drastic increase in liver problems among young people :(
Three Buck Chuck is cheaper than psych meds and therapy ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
capitalism has turned people into commodities, we no longer see ourselves as human beings but things that must produce worth. we start feeling like weâre losing our production value and we end it.Â
Weâre not killing ourselves because weâre sick of life, weâre killing ourselves because weâre not being allowed to live.
May the 10 of Pentacles bless your account with more money than you can spend. đ”âš
10 of Pentz came thruuu
Omg this actually works!!! Thank you 10 of Pentacles!!!
I could seriously use this money right nowâŠ.
Please give me my refund of 400$ soonâŠ
I feel obligated to reblog this every time it shows up in my dash
No bragging, just 100% floored and grateful. Work hard, maintain a positive attitude, and believe that anything can happen.
So I reblogged this exactly a week ago because I thought it was funny and uh lo and behold, a family friend wrote me a big olâ check just to help me out of a tough financial spot AND my bank refunded me $32 for fees theyâd originally taken out. SO UH YEAH. Reblogging this again in hopes that it brings equally good fortune to my followers.
Sure why not? Jobs bring in money and prosperityâŠ
I NEED TO FIX MY CAR DOOR
It fucking WORKED.
give me money
i canât afford to breathe
I just need a few more money to get the things I need for a project!!! Come through pentacles dude!!!!
Iâve had to do years of training myself how to rephrase things. Sometimes I am close to melting and can only repeat things.
This is very important even when dealing with people with dementia. Mygrandfather once kept yelling at me that he thought i forgot to put cheese on his pasta. After a while i found out he was worried because he couldnt remember if he has taken his medication. Or even people who dont tell you their diagnosis. I used to think im stupid for not understanding simple tasks that my boss has given me. Then i found out that i have to repeat what i understand sheâs telling me or break the task down into small parts and ask about each one. She calmly clarifies the whole thing, none of us is stressed and thanks to me putting unrecognizeable amount of effort into talking to her, we became good friends. Itâs all about patience and understamding. If you manage that, your world will be simpler and the people around you will stop being stressed.
Start using support levels instead of functioning labels!
For the uninformed, functioning labels are terms like high functioning autism, low functioning autism, mild autism, severe autism. Other words like moderate or level 1, level 2, etc may be used too.
Functioning labels are extremely offensive because theyâre placed on autistic people based on observation from the outside. This is problematic for three reasons.
Functioning labels determine how autistic people are treated. People associate âlow functioning/severeâ with incompetence or infancy and they end up treating the autistic person like a pet or a baby. High functioning/mild gets stereotyped as people who are just a little quirky and their difficulties get ignored as laziness or intentional stubbornness.
Functioning labels imply brokenness and treat people as if their intrinsic value is determined by what they contribute to society rather than the fact that they are a living being with oxygen in their lungs and blood in their veins like everybody else.
Functioning labels create a dichotomy as if there are differing âlevelsâ of autism or that people exist on different areas of the spectrum. NO, NO, NO, thatâs not how it is.
Think of spectroscopy and how the elements create their own signature color lines. Now put peoplesâ names in place of the elements: Hydrogen/Harold, Helium/Henry, Lithium/Luke, Oxygen/Olga, Carbon/Carol, Nitrogen/Nadine.
Autism is like that. Weâre all on the same spectrum and all that is unique is how we display our symptoms, our sensory issues, our splinter abilities and so forth.
In light of that, I want to change the language. Letâs start pushing for support levels instead of functioning labels.
High support:Â Anyone who isnât able to live independently and needs help with some or all of their basic daily living skills such as eating, bathing, basic grooming, putting on makeup, getting dressed and completing tasks. Can be abbreviated online or in writing as HSP for High Support Person or HSAP for High Support Autistic Person.
Usage in speech: Clarissa is a high support autistic person and needs assistance with getting dressed and taking a shower. Abbreviated usage online: Iâm a HSAP and Iâm really into physics, so the poor sucker who signs me on is gonna hear a lot about it when they hand me my iPad!Â
Medium support:Â Anyone may or may not live independently and doesnât need help with basic living skills, but needs help with other things like cooking, completing some tasks, transportation if unable to drive and assistance for things like grocery shopping. Can be abbreviated online or in writing as MSP for Medium Support Person or MSAP for Medium Support Autistic Person.
Usage in speech: Kevin is a medium support autistic person and needs some assistance to prepare meals and shop for the wood he uses for his carpentry projects. His boyfriend, Max, usually helps him with those. Usage online: Iâm a MSAP and Iâm looking for info about saws. Any fellow auties know whatâs best for cutting oak?Â
Low support:Â Anyone who more often than not lives independently and may only need assistance with minor things like balancing a checkbook, getting started on some tasks like organizing a garage sale or arranging to move from one house to another. Can be abbreviated online or in writing as LSP for Low Support Person or LSAP for Low Support Autistic Person.
Usage in speech: Jesse is a low support autistic person and she only needs help keeping her checkbook balanced. Usage online: Iâm a LSAP and Iâm thinking about moving to Seattle. Whatâs the weather and traffic like there?Â
Reasons support levels are better:
They donât make assumptions about intelligence
They donât encourage infantilization or pity
They sound more respectful and dignified
Ditch functioning labels and start using support levels. These terms can apply to practically every kind of disability, not just autism.
For the record, Iâm a MSAP.
Please reblog this whether youâre disabled or not. Make this viral.

@feeding-the-lake
Disabled Person:Â âI struggle with this.â
Ableist:Â âI donât believe you. Itâs not normal to struggle with that.â
Disabled Person:Â âI struggle with this because of a disability.â
Ableist:Â âI donât believe you. Unless youâve been diagnosed, you donât have a disability.â
Disabled Person: âI struggle with this because of a diagnosed disability.â
Ableist: âI donât believe you. Youâre high functioning. Disabilities are overdiagnosed. Youâre nothing like those low functioning people who actually struggle.â
Watch this stir up a shitstorm because youâre not REALLY disabled if you could find the will to get on the computer and type this out
