The fans… or so she thought looked kind enough to not follow them at the distance where they could probably sniff her hair - and of course, people would take photos, saying she’s out with a boy and whatnot. Dating scandals would be the last thing she wanted, but they were best friends. There was nothing to hide, hence the fact that she acted so carelessly despite all eyes fixated on her. Turning back to look at the crowd with both her hands stuffed in the pockets of her coat, she flashed them a bright smile. “This guy is my best friend! We’re trying to have a best friends night out and I’m treating him food, please have a good night!” With a playful laughter, she bowed to them and quickly returned to her best friend, scrunching up her nose with her teeth sank onto her bottom lip. “Hmm.. I might just have a few shots. I really want to drink and I promise I won’t be drunk. I know this red booth nearby. Follow me, quick alright.” Quickening her pace, she turned to peer at him over her shoulder with a cheeky grin. Upon arriving at the red booth, she entered and picked a seat. Luckily, there weren’t a lot of people since it was getting late. Taking a seat, she looked at him and grinned. “This is nice right, five stars restaurant. Brought to you by yours truly.”

He turned to the crowd and bowed at them in respect, ah, he can’t let people think Ahn Hani of EXID have such a rude best friend now can he? With an apologetic smile flashed at the fans of his best friend’s, he soon trailed behind the latter and followed her to where she’s headed to. “Aren’t idols supposed to steer clear from alcohol?” he snorted and shook his head, rubbing his reddening nose that’s caused by the winter breeze. There are times like these that he hated going out at night-- he catches a cold easily, maybe if he wasn’t this weak he could be going places, climbing Mount Everest for all he wants but it seemed impossible when he remembered he has a kid back at home waiting for him to bring back freshly made steamy snacks, even threatened that he will be unfriended by his own son if he didn’t bring back his favourite fish cakes, what’s new? 

“Oh, I remembered that I can’t stay for long, Taeoh wouldn’t last without me even for more than an hour,” he muttered as he sits on the opposite seat from her. “Five stars, really?” he snorted, taking off his beanie and ruffled his already messed up hair. “I guess there’s nothing for me to worry about since it’s your treat right~?”

On a scale from 1 to 10, Jon still haven’t been able to determine just how sure he is to let Baekhyun watch over his kid who had gotten a sugar rush since breakfast for eating too much umeboshi candies. Taeoh had been jumping around and roaring at the air and it doesn’t help much when his friend reciprocated him with equal enthusiasm. Both of them click so well (they started to run around the first minute Baekhyun arrived) that it would be a disaster to put them both in one house. Okay, maybe 6 on the scale, since he likes children and not as grumpy as the nanny he brought home last time.

“You’ve gotta,” he cleared his throat a few times in a row, groaning when his sore throat is getting worse that he resulted into drinking gulps of water straight from the jug instead before continuing, “watch out for him really closely. He’s gonna reach for the candies when you’re not looking so place them on really high places. If he whines, you,” he grabbed Baekhyun’s shoulders, shaking him firmly, “Must. Fucking. Resist.” Is he even listening? “Put him to sleep if you must." He was hoping that Baekhyun was listening, for fucks sake stop paying attention to Taeoh’s split.

The next twenty minutes he explained the hand gestures that Taeoh uses to tell what he wants (in case he’s too shy to explain that he wants to ‘peepee’) and ten more repetition about not letting him eat candies, before he grabbed his jacket to head to the hospital. The sole reason he mustn’t bring Taeoh along was because he didn’t want the kid to catch a fever like him too-- that’d be another winter disaster story, and he was glad that Baekhyun had a free time when he needed a babysitter (or ‘baby sister’ like Baek said). Flying kisses and a lot of hugs later -- to Taeoh’s dismay that he pushed Jon off a few times, damn dad--  he’s finally gone with his fingers crossed. “Good luck Baek! Tough luck!”

"Sorry, but, um... am I the only one confused here? Why hasn't anyone else showed up?"

Jon had just ended his phone call with a client when a familiar looking female approached him. It seems like she’d been walking around there for a while now and he felt bad that he’d just noticed now. “I’d be glad to help you, miss… But what exactly are you here for?” He blinked as his gaze falls on her. Yeah… I’ve seen her somewhere. 

“Are you perhaps here for Frankenweenie?” He bit the tip of his tongue a few moments after, realizing that that wasn’t the right title of the musical. “Sorry– Frankenstein, GOSH. The other one was my son’s favourite movie,” he laughed apologetically as he fumbled with his brochure. “If you’re not, then I can assure you that you’re not late to anything, since both Gone with The Wind and Dracula haven’t started yet. I’m here for the latter, that’s in like– 20 minutes or so.”

Boredom was the reason Chloe had signed up for a cooking class. She knew how to cook but why not learn new techniques she figured. Because the holidays were coming up they were learning how to make and decorate cookies for Christmas. As she seemed to breeze through the class she noticed the male next to her struggling immensely. She wanted to offer her help but she wasn’t in the mood to be snapped on by anyone. 

It wasn’t until he spoke that she turned her full attention to him. “Hm? Oh thank you.” She smiled brightly, quite proud of her cookies with snowmen faces on them. She looks at his cookies and presses her lips together before smiling in a polite way. “Those are..creative.” She clears her throat. “A steady hand? I’m a tattoo artist. It comes in handy for things like this. Want some help?”

Jon hadn’t baked for years, so maybe this is the reason why his baking skills had gone rusty over the years since his son was born. There were so many more important things to focus on in the span of four years than baking, but he realized that now it’s different. Taeoh has been getting more and more demanding nowadays and had been asking for sweets almost too often, and he thought it’d be nice to make it at home than having his kid to eat store bought products that doesn’t taste that good unless expensive.

In his state of desperation, of course he’d just nod in defeat, smiling sheepishly at the female as he wipes away flour residue on his cheek with the back of his hand. “I... am not an artsy person... even if I have these cookie molds I’d still screw these up,” he laughed quietly and put down his hand on the counter. “Yes... please. What do you think I did wrong? Cause well-- look at how yucky that looks like.”

Storm covered her mouth with her hand to hide the laugh bubbling up from inside of her. “I’m so sorry- I had no idea… No, wait. Why didn’t you tell me you were going steady? I thought you would tell me if something like this happened?” She feigned a shocked expression before softening and speaking softly. “But real talk, I’m really happy for you, Jonzu.” She patted his arm affectionately before leaning a little closer. “So, on a scale from 1 to 10, how good is it?”

The male’s cheeks didn’t cease from reddening even as his palms slowly came up to his face to pet them, disregarding how she’s practically teasing him now. “Oh please, I’d have told you long ago if only you’d been around. It’s been... about 2 months or so since I dated him.” He looked at her with a funny look and snorted. “Thanks-- and what exactly is ‘it’, anyway? I have no idea what you’re talking about.” He gave the other a soft knock on the shoulder with his knuckle as he bit down his lower lip, meekly avoiding the conversation any further as he cleared his throat. “C’mon, time to go.”
