Because we are median headmates, our posts will have fluctuating tags (either Thorn, Dimitri, or Thorn/Dimitri). Despite our median existence, we do consider ourselves different people, just severely connected and half-merged.
Thorn mostly likes to write about the dynamics of our plurality, while Dimitri is more interested in the psychology behind it (or psychology in general).
We do not expect for the others (often referred to as 'the girls') to have interest in posting on this profile, but we might sometimes offer quotes from them. This is because headspace takes place in 2008, so being chronically online wasn't as much of a thing back then /lh
Why Elemental?
This collective is based on a very fleshed-out headspace that was created through maladaptive daydreaming.
Within headspace there is a concept known as a "Primordial". In every lifeline, any essence that form the building blocks of the universe (the four basic elements, time, space, sound, light, life, death, etc), are carried by a Primordial. Aside from the OG body owner, all headmates are an Elemental Primordial. They carry an element within their core and personality, and the Primordial affects the element, while the element affects the Primordial.
Because Dimitri (the Primordial of Earth) merged with Thorn as a median headmate, Thorn has "adopted" the Earth identity/experiences with an alterhuman earth conceptkin identity.
Because all headmates are either an Elemental Primordial or conceptkin, we feel like our collective name is a given, and you will often find the elements as a "theme" on this profile for this reason.
I have a theory that the moon IS a trans woman cause she’s always associated with feminine things but when we saw the craters that look like a face we called it “The Man In The Moon”. She’s a woman with a face that people may perceive as male. She’s a beautiful trans woman
the moon is a beautiful trans woman who hates terfs and shows her face every night to remind other trans women they are beautiful and strong and loved and important and wonderful and that terfs and their opinions dont matter
I wanna add to this if it’s ok?? In Hindu mythology, Chandra, the moon, was originally thought of as a male deity. However, as time went on, symbolism involving the moon and the name “Chandra” itself became identified with femininity, with beautiful girls being described as having “moon-like faces,” with their dark, long hair reminding lovers of the midnight sky, and names like “Nilaa” (”moon” in Tamil) and “Indu” (in Sanskrit) are now pretty much now completely girl names!
AlsO Chandra is married to 27 wives, who are all stars. The moon is a trans lesbian and is gay for all the stars in the sky.
your mom jokes don't work when you know someone too well. I would never be in bed with such a wicked woman. That's not even what I had your mom saying last night. I wouldn't speak to her.
I am a fully diagnosed DID system - I used to be anti-endo until a number of months ago when I had a startling realisation that made me reconsider everything:
Restricting the definition of who a label/concept can be applied to falls under the same philosophy that the systems that oppress the disabled fall under.
That is to say - restricting access so that imagined invaders and "appropriators" won't get in.
The endo "invaders" are not oppressors in any fashion. Hating them because our oppressors "won't take us seriously because of them" is joining the war on the side of the oppressors. It's only fighting ableism until the oppressors call out a target that's easy enough to punch down on.
We, as a community, can be better, more compassionate than that. Is this truly what being "radical" is? Stop punching down. For your own sake, too. Is this really the "good fight" you want to win? To remove all the "weirdos who don't belong?"
To my friends who still feel hurt, I understand. But the people you are fighting do not want to hurt you. They just want to understand their own individual human experience. If they are angry at us, they are not in the wrong. You know that rage, too, at being told that what you are is not real, or is impossible to take seriously.
You have been taught to value an idea of a "real" experience based in science. But that science is so limited. The DSM-5 is not a bible, it is written with the intent of treating us, making us more palatable, "worth our place in society". It is not something we should be thumping to ward off "impure" things. We do not need purity. We do not need sanctity. We need safety and community, so we need to build it.
If we view endos, willos, or any type of system as a pest, we will choke ourselves with pesticide to eradicate them. This is not kindness. This is not acceptance. It is cruelty.
Do not give in to the desire to punch down. It will kill you.
as a traumagenic system how do i stop feeling resentment towards endogenic systems who seemingly taught plurality as a fun and stress free thing
Break down the origin binary you've trapped yourself in. We're more alike than you think, and these labels are new as fuck. They were coined to try to end this exact kind of internet-brained discourse. It didn't work. People still give each other shit for existing in ways they personally dislike. People still stereotype each other instead of talking.
Does it have to be like that? What are we actually getting from shredding each other? How's it help us in a world where the average singlet doesn't give a shit because we're all the same kind of crazy in their book- where Split landed big in the box office, where people tell us that the only way they'll treat us as sane is if we conform to their standards of health? Who defines disorder? Why do they get the right to call us all mad? Why are we making our peers into harrassment targets when we've got bigger problems?
Doesn't matter the kind of system: people can play, cry, celebrate, fall apart, get together, grow, break down, get traumatized, heal, change, struggle, and whatever other "you must be real enough to ride this ride" bullshit you were taught makes a system worth respecting. The contest of "you must be this fucked up to enter" is complete bullshit, and it teaches people to perform suffering in exchange for basic decency towards them. I'd rather have a world where we're not teaching new systems that they have to be in horrible pain to be real, so if some systems get to skip believing that they're doomed to suffer and manage to have fun with their lives because of that, good for them.
No one owes you their full life story online. No one owes anyone else a daily dose of struggle-wanking just to be treated with basic respect. If someone just wants to post about the fun and silly shit, they can. They don't owe you their pain. But if you want to see it, there are plenty of folks under any label who'll talk about it and show you what you're not seeing.
How many folks using the endogenic label have you talked to with an open mind- not to argue about it, but to actually listen and understand them? Are you pigeonholing a whole class of people into a stereotype, and do you want to keep doing that?
You think they never stress about it? You think they never face shit for it? Go ask them about stress. Go ask them how they get treated for being plural "for fun" and how that affects their daily life. Go ask them what's hard. They don't owe you an answer, but I've never met a system that's totally stress free without doing a shitload of work to get there. I have met systems who manage to have fun with it anyway. I have met systems that learned to make plurality a net positive for them even with their struggles.
Doesn't matter the kind of system. We're all dealing with something. But wouldn't you rather live in a world where sharing a head is allowed to be fun sometimes?
We wanted to create a side-blog because we became interested in the wonderful world of digital cameras. After buying a DSC-P1, which turned out to be dead entirely, we fell in love with the design and wanted to get our hands on the closest affordable alternative on the internet. The DSC-P73 was released 4 years after the P1, but has the same feel to it.
On this side-blog, we'll be sharing pictures made to give that 2000's feel, yapping about cameras, and general 2000s aesthetic topics. Through our photography, we might sometimes explore different aesthetics such as Frutiger Aero, Older Brother Core, general nostalgia, and vice versa.

We got an Epic ask from the April Fools game, so we felt special enough to answer that one.
Quiplash 2 from Jackbox Games for sure. That game fuels inside jokes like there's no tomorrow.
But if it comes to actual video games you play with a console, probably Mario Kart at home with the brothers. That has led to some comedy gold from time to time.
