aya:
Keeping her hands in her pockets, Aya wasn’t really looking at Eli anymore, just nodding her head a little bit in recognition that she was listening to him. “… actually, he had a nightmare when he watched the first movie originally. I guess they really disturbed him for some reason. I had to cover all his windows for a week since there was a tree right outside.” She let out a small laugh at the memory, starting to walk after him, trying to dig through her purse to find her keys in the first place. “Don’t mind the mess. I haven’t had the chance to really clean it out in a while,” she said as they approached the rather expensive car, despite it only being a little cluttered if anything.
Eli made a face of sympathy, although a bit of amusement was behind it. “Smart kid. Never trust animals who stand upright, don’t wear clothes, or sing.” He fondly reminiscenced when his own younger siblings did the exact same thing in regards to creepy animated characters. Eli lightly tapped on the top as they arrived at Aya’s car, examining the outside more than looking in the inside. “Trust me- any car is better than my old clunker. Both inside and out, damn...” He continued, more to himself.
