hi everyone i have so many life updates since i've been gone!!! ill post them as a reblog to this post but i wanted to let you guys know im meeting my boyfriend's family tonight and we're having dinner and im so nervous!! i kinda already met his mom and grandma briefly but this is formally this time

okay okay updates

1. i've started taking my first pre-req class for nursing school!!! it's an accelerated summer class for human anatomy w/ lab. it's definitely a hard class but the professor is real fair with his grading so i can't be too mad.

2. my parents have moved out of state and now it's just me here! no family or anything. i honestly thought it would be horrible but im actually having a great time. i'm extremely busy, like if im not at school then im studying or at work or with my boyfriend. i live in a wonderful little apartment like 6-8 blocks from the beach and my job pays well and we're getting a raise in july!

3. i'm back in therapy for the first time since i was 16!! i really like my therapist

4. my boyfriend!!!!!! we've been together for about 4 months now and i love him. i'm thoroughly convinced he's the love of my life and im so happy. i've met almost all of his family already but his parents and grandma i met very informally and very briefly but tonight is when i formally meet them !! i'm so nervous. i'm mostly nervous because they only speak spanish and i speak like intermediate spanish so i can talk to them but i fumble my way through it a lil bit but i made a secret look to share with my boyfriend when i need him to help translate

Review: 10/10, solid guy, funny and sweet to our dear Chava as he should be! Although knowing her I shouldn’t have been worried since she would’ve clocked him from the start if there was something off about him but there isn’t. Super cool and looks so content, comfortable, and endearing when looking at Kath, I felt a genuine warmth and love watching them interact and joke around together. Everything felt like a genuine moment in time and I was honored to be able to watch it and am glad, happy, and excited that Kath has someone like this in her life 😭🥹🤧🥰💕
