so...the pun here doesn't tl well into english, but honestly it would help to have a script of what she actually says haha, because it SOUNDS like she's just saying "Samuel L. Jackson" in the japanese.

What I THINK is going on here is, the word for "cold" in japanese is "samui", and the way you would make the name "samuel" into jp is "sam yu eru", and I think they're going for a pun here with "samui" and "sam".

but in jp it didn't sound like she said "samu eru" so i'm not entirely sure, lol

anyway the subs tried to replicate this effect by translating "it's cold" into "some cold" and then taking that bit and putting it into the name!
