other fandoms when their show loses any of its budget: we're fucked, it's all over.
Doctor Who fans when the show loses most of its budget:
oberyn martell guy of all time. famous for being a murderous bisexual polymath dilettante showed up served cunt died an extremely preventable death. who’s doing it like him
because it’s iconic and he loves to do iconic shit.
do allow me, will you? ➢ THE SOUND OF MUSIC (1965)
This scene changes a person.
Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS (2025) dir. Matt Shakman

What’s your favorite time of day?
Oh you know the time where I get to read about fictional characters being in love with me
A Character Analysis
Listening to a podcast about Octavian and the following had me giggling:
"Octavian has learned that his greatest asset as military leader is Agrippa. And so he fully unleashes Agrippa on Antony. And Agrippa unleashed is something to behold."
marcus vipsanius agrippa, you will always be famous to me.
all it takes is one musical to fuck up all your spotify stats forever
marriage is scary, what if he isn't Pedro Pascal?
Some things don't change.
my whole thing is just that like. there was no point to any of it.
there was no point in bringing back the rani, a character that many people wanted back for decades. we had this whole build up with ms flood for two whole ass seasons for the rani's plan to be inconsequential to anything that happens and brushed aside in the first 30 mins. there was also no point to her bigenerating if the "real" rani just gets... eaten?
there was no point to the doctor letting the rani bring out the omega, a character steeped in the mythos of doctor who, only to make him a giant skeleton who gets shoved back into his little jail after 30 seconds
there was no point to being like "time lord are sterile and that's why poppy is so important" only to make her not the doctor's daughter in the end
there was no point in putting bel into a box the whole episode so they could focus on ruby instead for some reason. and there was no point in shoehorning her into a mother role when her character is predicated on not giving into gender norms andddd after she specifically said she wanted to travel with the doctor now (they did her so dirty all season. she could have been a super memorable companion but they just did not give her a chance and then LITERALLY shoved her into a box)
there was no point in the doctor being able to heal himself with bigeneration energy only to have to regenerate instead of using that instead
there was no point in thirteen coming back for 2 seconds
there was no point in susan popping up (another character we've waiting a longgggg time to see again)
there was no point in ruby's memories
there was no point in rose noble (story of her life)
and now they got rid of a very charismatic and wonderful actor in their titular role for a gimmick
russell... stop wasting my time.
ncuti gatwa had 17 episodes as the doctor. TOTAL. including the christmas special (not including the 60th specials). 2 series and 17 episodes... and for two of those he wasn't even in most of it because they were ruby solo eps. GONE TOO FUCKING SOON
People call moffats era misogynistic but it has NOTHING on this. Belinda had a whole set of memories and a life where she was living in a shared house working as a nurse being a woman in her thirties who didn't conform to the patriarchal ideals of motherhood. And that whole version of herself has been erased and replaced by a 'happy ending' when she had a daughter all along. But she didn't have a daughter all along??? Poppy only existed because of conrads wish. Conrad, who wished for a misogynistic, queerphobic, and ableist world. Why is this version where she is a mother the better ending? Why was Belinda and the Doctor's excitement at travelling together when Poppy was being erased framed as something tragic and wrong?? Say what you will about moffat but at least he explored the horror of unexpected motherhood in series 6. Why was Belinda nothing but happy and fulfilled at being a mother?
boy oh boy.
what the fuck was THAT (derogatory).
