One of the reasons why people use AI that I don't see people talk about is the toxic perfectionism. In this era of social media, where a lot of content we see is polished and edited to perfection, it's easy to feel like a failure as a beginner compared to someone who started years ago during a time where there wasn't so much pressure.

Obviously, I'm not defending—just because it's a reason doesn't mean it's a valid one. Of course if you begin something it's gonna look like shit but if you keep doing that shit, there will come a day where it doesn't look like shit anymore. That's just it.

My best advice is to find a way to like the shit. Write shitty fanfiction with all the scenes you wish would happen in your favorite media. Make a comic with stick figures. Write a poem and pretend it's song lyrics for a musical. Finding little joys in your art is a huge motivator, especially when improving. Don't underestimate that.
