I agree john mulaney is probably an immortal akin to beings such as keanu reeves and jeff goldblum but he’s like a new born baby immortal who is looking at the long long expanse of a lifetime he has in front of him and is already tired
jeff golblum is thousands of years old and loving it. john mulaney was born in 1901 and ever since 1924 it’s gone downhill for him
So to be clear, the immortal timeline seems to be:
John Mulaney - early 20th century
Eric Andre - Probably 17th century or so.
Taika Waititi - Elizabethan age, probably hung out with Shakespeare
Keanu Reeves - We think sometime around Alexander the Great, but he seems to have just sprung up fully formed.
Jeff Goldblum - 100% Biblical times, may or may not be King Solomon.
Tommy Wiseau - Indeterminate, may be the first Homo Sapiens.

Alrighty friends, here’s an in-depth look at my bullet journal, the process I use, and my specific pages for the past few weeks.
(Don’t forget to change the mode of reblog to text post, not link, if that’s what you want.)
To start things off, here’s my cover:
The paint is chipping just a wee bit, and I need to get a perfect method down for painting the covers, but I decided to dress up my Moleskine, as I have multiple and they all look exactly the same. When I get a better method down, I’ll post a tutorial so other people can decorate their Moleskines too!
If we open the cover, we have my legend and the start of my index.
As my schedule will be changing next semester, and thus so will the colors I’ve been using, I’ll probably make a new legend at the start of the summer or next semester. As for my index, I have it separated into two columns, one for the description of the item, and one for the page number.
It also covers two pages.
As you can also see above, I have my schedule for the semester written out, with the squares colored in with their coordinating pens from the legend. I have the name of the class, the time it begins, the time it ends, and the room it meets in listed. I think I may add the professor (or TA for labs and discussion) next semester since I’ll be taking even more classes. We’ll see.
Next we have my monthly layout.
I chose this layout because I had originally intended on having a task list for the month along the left-hand side, but next time I will definitely be cutting that and using the whole two pages for my calendar view.
I also have a condensed monthly view.
This is used for a easier way for me to see how packed which parts of the months will be, and stuff like that.
And now we move into my daily pages.
The first (above) are really quite boring.
And sometimes my colors align extremely well.
Sometimes I get distracted during studying and start doodling professional lettering into my pages.
This one is by risarodil, and you should go check out her stuff–it’s amazing! I’m currently out of color ink, else I would have printed it and placed the original with her name on it in my book.
This page is my favorite.
Crowded yet organized, colorful, bright. I have a test tomorrow and a project due the day after, hence the boxes of studying to-do lists (which I LOVE by the way–they’re super helpful).
As you can see, I put the number of the day and which day of the week it is along the side, with the number in a circle along a “ribbon” and the day listed in orange (go Pokes!) across the top of each day. I also color along the ribbon different colors (actually the order the colors are in the Staedtler pen case) to help separate the days a little more visually.
The supplies I use are:
Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pens, porous point, 10 count
Moleskine hardcover journal, large
Pilot G2 05 pens
Staedtler 925 Drafting Pencil, 05mm HB
Pilot Frixion pens (the kind with the Japanese writing all over it).
Let me know what you all think, and feel free to show me your bullet journals!
hello everyone! i know some of you will be going back to school soon, so i decided to make a huge masterpost that will hopefully help some of you out!

so here’s a little guide on all things ill and how to go about with it from someone who gets sick quite often. flu season and cold weather is on the way, so always take precautions with your health. hope it helps!
how to take care of school:
find out the homework you’re missing out on! do assignments you understand and know you can finish. it’ll lessen your workload when you return and you won’t be behind on any material they’ve covered.
find out any tests you’ve missed too! you can use this time to review and study the material to come in prepared, ready to take the test.
ask a friend for notes! always have a friend in each class who wouldn’t mind sending you the notes. you can go over what’s been covered and always ask for help if you don’t understand something when you return.
email your teacher! they’re the ones who will know everything and will definitely get you on track with assignments and material you missed. in fact, always check in with your teacher when you’re out!
always be prepared in general! do what you can to be ready for work to be done and make your life easier by hacking at it while you’re sick. when you return to school you aren’t completely lost and can get ready to get back to work.
don’t let illness kill your grade. rest. recover. stay on top of things, always.
how to treat:
sore throats/coughs- number one recommendation is to gargle warm salt water. boil or heat up a cup of drinking water and add about a teaspoon of salt, then stir until it’s at a comfortable temperature for you. gargle the entire cup. this soothes the throat and helps reduce mucus production; it also kills any bacteria in your throat.
congestion- take a hot shower daily and breathe in the steam; it opens your chest which can help make coughing out phlegm easier.
ear infection- heat up a cup of salt in a pan and place it into a cloth you can tie up. lay down and place it over your ear, and stay there for about ten minutes. it should draw out fluid from your ear.
general colds- eat lots and lots of food with spices and herbs, particularly thai and vietnamese soups and dishes. the herbs and spices they include in their food are the best treatment to cure all sorts of ailments. plus, if spicy foods give you a runny nose you can sneeze all that gunk out.
how to avoid getting sick:
hand sanitizer! carry a bottle of hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. if you touch your face a lot or you’re about to eat without washing your hands, this is a great on-the-go to stay sanitary.
wash your hands! hand sanitizer is great on the go, but the alcohol can remove good oils from your hands and leave your skin dry and irritable. use warm water and rub your hands together to create friction. heat kills bacteria!
drink water! water flushes out toxins in your body and keeps you hydrated. drink at least eight cups!
eat your fruits! or drink them. oranges, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, bananas, etc. they contain antioxidants and vitamins that will keep your immune system strong and getting you sick in the first place. even if you do get sick, your body will be able to fight it off.
don’t share personal items! any direct contact to your ears, eyes, nose, and mouth with an infected object is a sure way to contract something. so try to refrain from sharing earbuds, makeup brushes/sticks/products, drink cups, eating utensils, eye droppers, lipstick/balm. always try to eliminate multiple factors inducing sickness.
wash direct contact items! things you use constantly and frequently, such as water bottles, earbuds, pens/pencils, should be cleaned often enough. germs will make homes out of them and then out of you!
clean your environment! if you have grimy bathrooms, dirty window mesh screens, food wrappers and stains in your home, you must not be practicing good cleaning habits! wipe surfaces down with disinfectant wipes and change your curtains; be free to breathe deeply in a room of clean air!
Kicking off the new year with a brand new bullet journal!
Haven’t filled out my goals for 2016 yet since my notes are at work, and I am not.
Let’s do 2016 and make it mine!
1/365 days of productivity
Hey I'm just scrolling through your blog :) it's very beautiful!! What exactly is a bullet journal though?
when u die bc heichou graces ur blog with his presence
(x2) LOL SORRY OKAY I will answer your question seriously now hehe. pls prepare urself for a mini onslaught of links
HERE is where i answered a similar question in the past ^-^
THIS is the original video that the creator produced explaining the concept of a bullet journal!
HERE is where i gave my input on which types of paper/journals i’d prefer for a bullet journal~
HERE is where i gave a look into how i set up my bullet journal
also, one more thing that I may or may not have mentioned in that first link:
a bullet journal to me is a compilation of everything i need. it is a journal, my academic/extracurricular planner, a lw password saver, my idea dump holder, schedule creator, brainstorming space, college essay rough draft writing medium, and sometimes even reflections on how my day went in general and how i think i did (productivity wise) that day!
so, as you can see, i think bullet journals are extremely versatile and customizable to what you want/need it to be. you can make it v pretty, or you can choose to be more minimalistic etc etc. if you wanna see more examples of bullet journals:
HERE is my tag for all bullet journals i’ve reblogged
and HERE is the tag for my bullet journals! (and questions relating to them uwu)
So I’ve seen this post going around in link form, which isn’t super useful to anyone who wants to read it, so I put it up in photo form. Useful for anyone who doesn’t have xkit. :3 Definitely like and reblog the OP, but if it shows up as a link, this helps. :3
I fixed the link for the OP so it works now :)
NEED THIS IN MY LIFE RN!!! THANK YOU TUMBLR!
I suck at cover letters so this is fab
