Abuser, while insulting you, threatening you, dehumanizing you and/or beating you: Stop making me look like the bad guy
"Good Morning" “How was your day?” “Be careful” “Text me when you get home so I know you’re safe” “Sweet dreams” “How are you?” “I hope you’re feeling better” “Have a good day today!” “I miss you” “Good night” “Can you come over?” “Can I come over?” “Can I see you?” “Can I call you?” “You’re beautiful” “Want something to drink?” “Watch your step” “Let’s watch a movie” “What are you up to?” “How is your day so far?” “It will be okay” “I’m here for you” “Do you need anything?” “Are you hungry?” “I just wanted to hear your voice” “You just made my day” … You don’t have to hear “I Love You” to know that someone does. Listen carefully. People speak from the heart more often than you think.

you get into the biggest fights, with the people you care about most because those are the relationships, you’re willing to fight for
Need that suit!
Oh, I’m sure he’ll be here soon. And if he’s not well, you’ve got me to keep you company.
Oh nothing. Just roaming the halls, bored.
"If he isn't then he isn't." She gave a light shrug. "Well, then it is a good thing that we've managed to both be bored here in the halls then. Perhaps together we can find something to do so that neither of us is bored."
"That’s very true though I didn’t think anyone really noticed that. We’re lucky to have someone like you then."
"Well, I notice a lot of things that others either don't or won't admit to seeing." She admitted a little hesitantly.
Get back here!
"Come on! You have to undo this! I have Quidditch practice tonight!"
Sarah paused in the hallway when she heard someone calling out. She pulled her lip between her teeth, it had been awhile since she had gotten into the middle of things and she wasn't sure she was ready to jump back in. It wasn't until she recognized the voice calling out for help that she knew she needed to step in. "Dirk?" She called out in question, though she already knew that it was him in trouble.
Curious as to Lily's lack of a wave or any form of real acknowledgement, Sarah gave her a hesitant smile. "Hello, Lily."
"Hey," she smiled warmly at Dirk. "where are you heading?"
Finally free from detentions.
"Whether or not I have thought about it is irrelevant. Besides, how I am suppose to hang out with you if you are always in detention, huh?"
"You missed me awww."
"Well of course I missed you. I need someone to break up my studying with stupid jokes and that is what you are here for"
"That’s so nice, you’re gonna make me cry."
"Oh, no, please don't cry." She gave him a a warm smile. "I don't think people take the time to appreciate others, so I thought maybe I could let people know that they are appreciated."
"Oh, thanks, Sarah. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, everything is fine. I just thought you might like to know that someone is glad that you are at this school, Ted."
Tell me a secret.
“What is your problem?” His words were harsh and cut her heart as she took a step away from the boy that she had grown so unbelievably close to over the last year. She didn’t thing that he would become this when she had met him. She thought of that many times over the next two years and over that time, she changed. She was colder and more aloof then many knew her to be.
As she sat out by the lake, she traced along the scar that she had received from the attack at Hogsmeade. This scar reminded her of the many of times these same type of scars had adorned her own skin. She swallowed hard and as she pulled down her coat sleeve, she heard the snapping of a twig behind her. Her head snapped back to the sound, revealing that a fellow student was the source. She knew the boy, Amos Diggory, fellow 7th year and in Ravenclaw House, judging by the blue and silver tie hanging loosely around his neck,
"Hello," Sarah spoke in a quiet voice, making sure that her sleeve was actually pulled completely down. "What are you doing down here?"
"Thought it was a nice day for a walk." He shrugged a shoulder. "You?"
"Just needed some fresh air, I guess." She pulled her legs up closer to her.
"Everything alright?" He asked. In answer, she shrugged. "Anything I can do?"
"Not unless you have a magical cure that can erase memories."
"Well, there is always obliviate."
"No." She said sharply, a little more sharply then she had intended. "Sorry..no, thank you."
"What’s on your mind anyways?" He asked after awhile of silence.
"Too much to explain, honestly." She answered as she rested her cheek against her knees. "Sometimes, I just wish that I could just forget about everything that’s happened and just start over."
"Why can’t you?"
"Because, the things that I’ve been through have made me who I am. Practically raising my entire family has made me able to do what needs to be done but also able to make sure that I do what is best for the person at the same time."
"Oh.." He replied. "I didn’t know that you raised your family."
"Well, my parents decided that work was a little more important then their kids." She sighed softly, turning back to the lake.
"That sucks.." He didn’t really know what else to say. Hell, he barely even knew the girl.
That’s alright. Hugs are nice so I’m not complaining.
You waiting for someone?
"Yeah, Dirk was suppose to be here a little while ago but," she shrugged. "He's late, so.." She pursed her lips for a moment. "What are you up to?"
Whoa there. Someone’s excited to see me.
"Oh..Sorry, Amos." She cleared her throat. "I..I um, I thought you were someone else."
